Secure. Contain. Protect. That is the mission of the SCP Foundation. A group that deals in anomalous objects and individuals. It started as a group of online writers who created case files for these entities in captivity. Now it has grown to an entire community contributing thousands of SCP files, video games, cosplay, stories, and even short animated films online. It has become a cultural significant lore, that has encompassed a lot of people's lives. The current count of SCP's is 7999 and growing every year. This week, we look at a few of Bob's favorite SCP files: SCP-035, SCP-2006, SCP-902, SCP-024, and SCP-971. You can learn all about the SCP Foundation here https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/

    127 – The Backrooms Feb 12, 2023
    Show notes

According to the Backrooms Wiki, "If you're not careful and no-clip out of reality in wrong areas, you'll end up in the Backrooms, where it's nothing but the stink of moist carpet, the madness of mono-yellow, and endless background noise of fluorescent lights at maximum hum-buzz, and approximately six hundred million square miles of randomly segmented empty rooms to be trapped in. God save you if you hear something wandering around nearby, because it sure as hell has heard you…" That was the first entry of online urban legend of the Backrooms. A collective of Creepypastas about an universe alternative to ours which lives in oddly colored back offices with many types of creatures roaming around. In this episode we look at the Backrooms as a whole and tell you about some Bob rather enjoys.

    Show notes

Bob's back from Magfest! So, we want to talk about a spooky video game story. Instead of a creepypasta, why don't we look at at a story that may actual be true. An Easter Egg in the background of Loki and The Simpsons, it's an arcade cabinet. The story dates back to the 1970s with kids getting sick while playing games, and men in black collecting data instead of quarters. It even leads back to MK ULTRA, a bizarre FBI and CIA mind control project.

123 – The Loch Ness Monster aka Nessie Jan 03, 2023
    Show notes

We gave Count Panek a chance to pick an episode, and he chose a cryptid we never discussed before. This week we travel to Scotland to a big body of water named Loch Ness. This body of water is famously home to supposedly a prehistoric creature. Over the past hundred years, tourists have flocked there to catch a glimpse of the creature. Despite sceptics believing that it doesn't exist, there are some actual scientific research that proves something large can exist in those waters. The most popular theory is that it could be a giant eel. Also, circus elephants? However, the theory that interests us the possibility it could be something related to a prehistoric era. In this episode we take a look at the possibility it could be a Plesiosaur or a descendant of. Also joining us is Steve Michaels, pro-wrestler with Ohio Valley Wrestling.
