Does it mean time spent together in person or just in conversation or doing something?
Our definition is: NO technology and showing other person your undivided attention and scheduled time
We are going to share some things we have done to help the environment for quality time which then leads to…..more fun and spice in the marriage. Why? Because if you feel connected, heard, valued, and loved and your spouse does too then you will have better intimacy and more fun together.
David Letterman style to 10 QT tips
10- Go to bed most nights of the week (at least 4) at the same time
9- Reading a book together, even if you dont read at same time you are both reading in same month, keeps conversations on more then work, family…..
8-Praying together or if you dont pray say what you are grateful for the day
7- Run errands together and keep phones away
6-Sending each other messages during day…not expecting answer. so Just to let other know you are thinking of them
5-Calendar Planning (essential for being on same page)
4-Choosing what night during week is work free (we both work for ourselves so no turn off button)
3-Scheduled Date Night or time together

First let's talk about how to pick an accountability partner and we share examples of how to structure your meetings.
6 Reasons you Need to have an Accountability partner:
1. Old Habits are hard to break- sometimes this is impossible to do alone.
2. You break promises to yourself often & you make Excuses! When you have to share that with someone else, you are human and we do not like to disappoint other people. You will break a promise to you, but keep it to someone else.
3. Your partner can help you make a step by step plan. They can help you develop a clear, focused plan what will help you reach your goals. Guide you
4. Accountability partner can see your Blind spots, you know the small behaviors you are doing that self sabotage your new habits and results you are trying to create. Have a Clear understanding and respect that you can call each other out. You need someone to cheer you on, but not afraid to call you out. No allowing you to stray from your goals. When choosing a partner, you must take this into consideration.
5. When you want to GIVE up... They can help you refocus. They will help pick you up when you are down. You will Have some Failure along the way. You want to ditch the new habits and go back to the old ones, but they will help you NOT go back.
6. Motivate you and Inspire you!! This is really about helping you create a disciplined lifestyle where you need LESS motivation... But on the road to get their, having someone that will keep you pumped up on the tough days is GREAT!!!

So there is often an elephant in the room with women, and today we are going to talk about it. Asking for HELP. WHy do so many women struggle with asking for help? This actually was a questions asked within our community... Melissa VanRoie
Asking for help...business and life. I think as independent women, we struggle to ask for help when we need it.How can we be better at this? I know I struggle with this- I find it so much easier just to do myself, then I find my self in situations where I have too much on my plate. I will become frustrated, short with people, and not as effective as I need to be... and I realize.... I did it to myself. Blair do you ever feel this way?The road to entrepreneurship, business can be challenge one, especially for women, because we generally carry the load at home too. How can we take some steps to have a better balance as independent women?
Often times as women we feel that in order to prove our worth, or that "we have made it" you have to somehow to do everything yourself. You know the "ive got this" syndrome.A few things that can help overcome this:
1. Be aware of your habits- be aware if you overburden yourself- this maybe be an everyday things
2. Show up for yourself- Self care, Healthy boundaries, saying no when you need to, saying YES when you need to, taking a break- whatever "showing up for yourself looks like"
3 Make meaningful connections: Who do you surround yourself with? Allow to be in your space. Are they supporting your dreams or stealing you energy?
4. Define what matters to you- Vision board, goals, Then you have a clear understanding if you should DO it or NOT. What does Success look like for you?? Get really CLEAR- so you can feel fulfilled.Resources Mentioned on today Episode:
