BIA Ep. 89 – JTT Ready To Shut Things Down Jun 25, 2021
    Show notes

The Friday news dump is real as it was reported by Brandon Huffman that class of 2021 defensive line target JT Tuimoloau is ready to shut things down, not taking an official visit to Alabama and will consider a group of four schools that includes Ohio State.
Tuimoloau, a five-star out of the state of Washington has not been one to do many interviews so the news of him coming out and changing his plans is a big deal and got us ready to jump out and do a podcast to put things into perspective.
Now, we are not sure where JTT is going. We feel that JTT may not even be sure where he is going. Does this mean that Ohio State, the favorite going into the visits is still the favorite? Does Oregon, the school that received the last visit is the favorite? Or is it Washington? Or USC?
We are not sure, but we talk about it at length as we try and sort things out with you on this recruitment.
Plus, Ohio State is going into its final visit weekend of the month, we talk about that and more. Has this been a successful month on the recruiting trail? Are you underwhelmed? Did they overperform? There is still almost a week to go, but we talk about that as well.

    BIA Ep. 88 – Visits, Multi - Front Recruiting & More Jun 17, 2021
    Show notes

It is a big week for Ohio State football recruiting with the Rivals Five-Star Challenge taking place in Atlanta while Ohio State had had a pair of football camps take place this week, a big official visit weekend is taking place for the class of 2022, and oh yeah, a big 2021 prospect is starting his official visit weekend as well, it’s JT Tuimoloau, for those who are not keeping track.
So much going on, so much to talk about, and things are evolving by the second. That is why we have the BuckeyeGrove Instant Access podcast here, to try and wrap a few things up, at least for the moment as we just don’t know what is in store at the next twist and/or turn.
Join Kevin Noon from Ohio and Joseph Hastings who is in Atlanta as we try and bring a little clarity as to what is going on with everything on the recruiting front. And if you are not a member, why not? Take advantage of our excellent free trial promo and don’t miss a thing.

BIA Ep. 87 – Expanding The Playoffs Jun 10, 2021
    Show notes

Could we be seeing the end of the four-team College Football Playoff in favor of a 12-team expanded playoff? That movement took a huge step forward on Thursday as a subcommittee of the CFP recommended a move from four to 12 teams, but there is a long way to go before we will see anything different in terms of how college football crowns a champion.
We are breaking down the proposal with our immediate reactions to what we have seen, who would be in, who would be off, who would play four games and who would play three. Where would games be played? And when? We have some ideas on how that would be sorted out.
And is this just too much football to ask these players to take part in? We go into that as well.

BIA Ep. 85 – The Ins - And - Out For June May 28, 2021
    Show notes

If you are a regular listener to the BIA Podcast, you know that June is going to be a huge month in terms of determining the future of the Ohio State program. That is not to take anything away from what Ohio State has done thus far in recruiting for the class of 2022 or in any other class. But it we are being honest, there will not be another month on any recruiting calendar that will see more recruits on campus in an official capacity along with camps running concurrently.
On Friday, Ohio State made Mark Pantoni and Erin Dunston both available to talk about what this month is going to look like, what it means and a whole lot more. They spoke to the local media for almost 40 minutes and we know you just want to high points here on the BIA Podcast.
That is why we have four or five of our favorite quotes and we break down our thoughts on what they mean.

BIA Ep. 84 – Big Lines, Big Goals; Ohio Enters NIL Realm May 26, 2021
    Show notes

A lot happening as we close out the month of May. Early football lines are coming out as the South Point Casino has dropped its games of the year and the Buckeyes are in four of those games and none of those lines are closer than 10 points.
Ohio State is a 13-point favorite over Oregon, Indiana and Michigan and a 12-point favorite over Penn State. Is that right, too much, too little? We talk that and also talk about upcoming series OOC for years to come.
Plus, NIL legislation is in the Ohio senate and it means a lot to schools like Ohio State and across the state. Join Kevin Noon and Griffin Strom as we talk about NIL, lines and a whole lot more.
