Season 8 Episode 2 I covered the case of 21 year old trans man Alex VanDalsen's death. Law enforcement insisted Alex's death was self inflicted. Alex's family, myself and some of my podcasting collegues believe otherwise. Even on bodycam footage of said law enforcement, they felt he was murdered and placed where found. Although their reports and declarations insist to Alex's family it was suicide. We call bullshit! Join C.J., Courtney F from A Nefarious Nightmare, Courtney L from Book of the Dead, Ashley from F**k That Podcast and Rob from Criminal Activity as we sit down and discuss new information and the plight of this case.
We'd also like to ask for help from all listeners, if you have stamps, a phone, an email account, you can help by reaching out to the people we have listed in our show notes below. What Alex's family has gone through is a continuing nightmare that could be solved if law enforcement did their job correctly!
A form letter will be available for everyone to use on my website and Darkcast Network's website, just in case, like me you get stuck on what to say. And the addresses of who to send it to. Thank you Rainbow Warriors.
We are angry. We demand justice. Say his name - ALEX VANDALSEN.
Alex VanDalsen, a transgendered man, was murdered, but his case was conveniently labeled a suicide. His mother, Jennifer VanDalsen, has spent nearly three years fighting for answers and justice. Due to recent events where Jennifer was once again tossed away and considered disposable by local authorities, we gathered together to have a round table discussion and refresh on his case, as well as a firm request of everyone listening to not only say his name, but bring awareness on his case. We want everyone in the true crime arena to please cover his case, we want authorities to dig deeper into their investigations, we want senators and government officials highlighting this case and we want Jennifer to finally have answers because ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
The following podcasts in todays discussion are listed, and linked to the episodes on Alex VanDalsen are as follows:

Johnny Boy D'Amato was an underboss who self appointed himself mob boss of the DeCalvacante family in New Jersey when their mob boss was incarcerated. Johnny Boy wasn't too popular with the family though. He had what some might call a kinky sex life, and when some found his sex life may involve other men, they flipped. Something had to be done about Johnny Boy.
