    A Life Pressed Down - Video Nov 09, 2014
    Show notes

Olive oil was a common household item in the first century. In the production of olive oil, olives go through three separate pressings. Each one is symbolic of what we experience in our lives, and what our Savior experienced in His life. Dr. Sams show us how avoiding suffering (the pressing down) denies us beautiful truth that can be critically useful (or poured out) to our neighbors. Watch, and be encouraged by the work God is doing through you.

    A Life Poured Out Nov 02, 2014
    Show notes

Dr. Sams shows us that the worth of our lives has nothing to do with the value of our gifts. But it has everything to do with how we spend those gifts. What we pour out isn't as important as what we pour into. Watch Dr. Sams present an amazing example of how wasteful it can be to pour the gift of your life into something meaningless.

Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.John 21:25 (NIV)

    Love Different Oct 26, 2014
    Show notes

Dr. Mark Labberton, President of Fuller Theological Seminary, takes us through one of Christ's best known parables about building your house on rock or sand. As our enemies bring storms against us, we can, both individually and as a church, endure those storms. The real victory however, is in telling the story of how Christ's love shelters us from those storms - our firsthand accounts of the power of His love. Would you enter into the story? It begins with building your house on The Rock. Hear God's Word and be inspired.

Investing in the Kingdom Oct 19, 2014
    Show notes

Using a challenging final verse in today's scripture passage, Dr. Sams educates us with historical background, showing us that the parable Jesus told was a mirror of current events, but with a "kingdom of heaven" twist. By using current events, Christ creates a new, profound layer of understanding. In this parable, Christ proves himself to be not a typical king. But what does that mean? Watch, and hear biblical truth about both judgment, and service. And don't miss Dr. Sams share a personal story about how a family risked their lives to serve his family.
