Brad Goreski steps Behind The Rope. Brad Goreski is a Celebrity Stylist who we know and love from some of TV’s finest such as Fashion Police, The Rachel Zoe Project and It’s a Brad Brad World. However, at one time in his life, a skin condition known as Rosacea forced him to shy away from the camera, if you can believe that. Along with Dermatologist, Doctor Shereene Idriss, Brad is here to explain what Rosacea is and what can be done about it. Thank you Brad and Dr. Idriss for bringing awareness to this chronic skin condition, for offering encouragement, and for bringing a face and name to this ever growing issue which can be treated. Of course, while we have Brad’s attention, we had to discuss his time on Fashion Police, what it was like and would he ever consider a reboot. We also discuss the new E Network Fashion / Beauty show he has in the works with the one and only NeNe Leakes. Brad also dishes on which Awards Show, he has done them all, is his favorite. He explains what the current state of Fashion is and how he thinks it will be forever changed. Finally, we catch up with Brad on all that he and husband Gary Janetti have been up to over the past few months and what else is next up for the power couple. Thanks for stopping by Brad.

Jared Lipscomb (Vanderpump Rules) Sep 04, 2020

Vanderpump Rules Makeup artist Jared Lipscomb joins us Behind The Rope. Ok he’s much more than that, but isn’t Vanderpump Rules where all stories should begin? Actually, Jared started doing his own makeup through dressing in drag. Someone said hey you should try this on others - he did - and soon realized a career in makeup was his true calling. His first professional job with someone in the public eye was an Orange Is The New Black cast member. Not a bad way to start. He then met someone who worked at NBC Universal who asked him to help be a touch up artist for one of the Vanderpump Rules after shows. He said yes. Went. Met the entire VR cast. He bonded with Brittany and Kristen this day - they gave him their numbers and the rest is history. Well Vanderpump Rules history which, lets face it - is the only history that matters. Ariana, Stassi, Katie, Kristen, Brittany - he works on them all. Jared takes us on the trajectory from meeting our favorite Vanderwomen - to being there for major life milestones - home owners hello - to this past Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules. Which of the women takes the biggest risks with their makeup and allows Jared to do as he pleases, the answer may shock you. Oh and Jared has also worked on Kelly Dodd's Mom for filming RHOC. Random fact but we are living for it. He has also worked on Madonna’s Gd Control Video. O-M-F-G. What a fun sit down with the one and only Jared Lips. On a serious note, Jared was diagnosed with Leukemia this past year. It is truly heart warming how the cast of Vanderpump Rules stood by him. You know what they say, you find out who you true friends are in tough times. We are happy to report Jared is on the road to recovery and we at The Rope wish him nothing but good health and happiness, always!

Jason Oppenheim Steps Behind The Rope. Jason fills us in on the current state of he market in Los Angeles before diving into the hottest show of the moment, Selling Sunset. Jason discuss his reservations before signing on to the show, what finally changed his mind and getting used to the presence of cameras in the office and while doing deals. Jason also chats about the effect Selling Sunset has had on both his professional as well as his personal life. We discuss the Oppenheim Group office drama and what Jason thinks of the womens' disputes on and off camera. Of course we asked Jason for his opinions on all of his employees Heather, Maya, Amanza, Davinda, Chrishell, Christine and last but certainly not least, Mary. Speaking of Mary, Jason explains how he and Mary first met and whether he truly favors her, which seems to be the consensus amongst the other agents. Jason tells us about the one time he showed a house to Ariana Grande and what transpired between the two. He also answers one of life's most pressing questions, will he ever settle down? On a personal note, we also had to pay homage to the king, Executive Producer of Selling Sunset Adam DiVello, thank you 100 times over also for The Hills and Laguna Beach.

Perez Hilton Steps Behind The Rope. Legend, The Original, Show Respect where Respect is Due, Perez Hilton. Born Mario Armando Lavandeira in Miami, the son of two Cuban Immigrants, we start at the beginning. Perez explains what childhood was like as an overweight closeted gay man obsessed with pop culture. He moved to NYC after high school to attend NYU and pursue a career in acting. Sixteen years ago, shortly after NYU, he started a "little Blog” called Perez Hilton. The blog quickly took off after he was the first to “out” Brad and Angelina and coin the term “Brangelina”. The Original Influencer, before influencers were influencers, prior to TMZ and most forms of social media that exist in the world today, Perez discusses what life what like after that initial explosion, what it is like to be hated by many, sued by a bunch, and left still standing all these years later. Perez discusses his love of celebrity and pop culture and how he coined his moniker thanks to Miss Paris Hilton. Speaking of Paris, we discuss her early career, Kim Kardashian, their friendship and ever changing relationship, the influence of Kayne, and where he thinks each stand in the pop culture hall of fame. Perez opens up about the rise, height, and fall of his friendship with Lady Gaga. We discuss other legends like the Queen of the World Madonna, Celine Dion, and Jennifer Lopez . We discuss what he has learned throughout the years and how he handles being confronted by celebrities he has been mean to in the past such as Jennifer Anniston and their infamous parking garage run in. Having met when they were just teenagers, Brandi and Shamari went on to form supergroup Blaque. Of course, no discussion of Blaque would be complete without a nod to the late Lisa "Left Eye Lopes" who helped discover and mentor Blaque. No discussion would also be complete without a nod to the group's 20th anniversary which just passed. Congrats Ladies! It is also the 20th anniversary of one of the best films ever made, "Bring It On", which both Shamari and Brandi starred in alongside Gabrielle Union and Kirsten Dunst. We discuss what it was like to work alongside those two film veterans plus what Cheerleading Practice and those seemingly impossible stunts were really like. Taylor’s stellar book by the same name “Tell It To My Heart” is a must read - juicy!! Taylor discusses her career which has included selling over 75 million records worldwide which makes her one of the best selling musical artists of all time. We discuss some of Taylor's famous friends such as Whitney Houston, Clive Davis, Belinda Carlisle, Debbie Gibson, Paula Abdul and Tina Turner. Oh let's not forget her friends Madonna, Prince or Michael Jackson, who she opened for on his infamous BAD tour. We just cannot. Say whaaat? Amanza Smith, from Selling Sunset. Steps Behind The Rope. First off, let us just address the infamous Z. Yes, Amanza was born Amanza with a Z Smith. Originally from Indiana, Amanza knew that small town life ultimately wasn’t for her. She moved to LA at a young age and, what else, became a model. Amanza discusses what the modeling industry was like back in the day. We also discuss her “career” as a suitcase girl on Deal or No Deal. She missed Meghan Markle by one season! Early on in her LA life, Amanza met Mary and Jason, introduced them, they dated, and the three have remained good friends ever since. Amanza and Mary even have matching tattoos - fun fact. Of course, we discuss Amanza’s design background and her job staging properties for The Oppenheim Group. Amanza added to that love of design, got her Real Estate License and ultimately started working as an agent at the Oppenheim Group, as seen on Season 2 of Selling Sunset. Welcome Amanza to Netflix and the wonderful world of Selling Sunset. Amanza entertains our endless questions about her other cast mates Heather, Davina, Maya, Christine, and Chrishell. Checking in from Long Island, NY, she fills us in on life in quarantine, her new B-Lashes Boutique, and what watching Double Shot at Love each week, at home, on the couch with her patents, is like. B-Lashes takes us back to the beginning of her Reality TV career. She explains how she was cast and what the MTV “interview" process was like in order to get hired to secure a coveted role fighting for the affections of Pauly D and Vinny G on the hit Double Shot MTV Show. A self admitted huge fan of Jersey Shore before being cast, she even went as Snooki one Halloween, B-Lashes explains her initial reactions when she first saw Pauly and Vinny in the house during season one realizing the show she had signed up for, the challenges of dating on national tv, the other girls - the good (Derynn and Marissa), the bad, the Nikki, and why it was always Pauly for her. Of course, we had to ask what it was like to meet Jersey Shore legend Angelina Pivarnick during season one and what being eliminated way too early Season One felt like. B-Lashes shares what Vegas was like Season Two, the new boys in the house, and what we can look forward to the rest of the season. We discuss the inevitable comparisons between Double Shot and The Bachelor and why finding love on TV is a concept we just never seem to tire of.
