Claudia Jordan steps Behind The Rope and she DOES - NOT - HOLD - BACK! THE Claudia Jordan from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. First things first, let’s not forget Claudia’s entire career before joining the highest rated of all the Housewives' franchises, RHOA. Claudia placed in the Top Ten in the Miss USA Competition. She was also once a “Price Is Right” and “Deal or No Deal" Girl. It was “Deal or No Deal” where she first met our current President, Mr. Trump. It was on “Deal or No Deal” that she was first approached to do Celebrity Apprentice. A year, and many meetings with Donald Trump and Mark Burnett, later, she found herself a contestant on the hit NBC show. Claudia shares all the drama both on, as well as off set with not only The Trumps Donald, Ivanka, Don. Jr and Eric, but also with fellow contestants Joan and Melissa Rivers, Dennis Rodman, and last, but certainly not least, Khloe Kardashian. Several years later, Claudia was invited back for Celebrity Apprentice “All Stars” and is happy to discuss her co-stars this second time around, LaToya Jackson, Omarosa (the two have since had a falling out. Do tell. Claudia does), and our favorite RHOBH pot stirrer, Lisa Rinna. We discuss her influences as a female director - Greta Gerwig, Ava DuVernay, Sophia Coppola, and Kathryn Bigelow. How how does one get to be the “chosen one” to follow Paris Hilton all over the world during the course of a year? Alexandra discusses what it is like to get a call from Paris’ team, what the interview process was like, and how does one dress when meeting Paris Hilton for the first time. Alexandra opens up about how Paris reacted to handing over total control to her and what it was like to show her the film once finished. We discuss how important it was for Paris to have a female director for “This Is Paris”. Originally from Ohio, Danny headed west to sunny Los Angeles in order to pursue his dreams of “making it” in comedy. We would say he’s done a pretty damn good job of achieving those dreams. The Real Housewives of New York City is Danny’s favorite franchise, we agree, and Ramona Singer is his favorite housewife, we kinda have to agree again. Are these two separated at birth? David & Danny also debate their love, or lack thereof, for The Hills, The View, Jennifer Love Hewitt, & Very Cavallari (RIP). No, they don’t agree on all of these important topics, but thats okay. Danny details what is was like to work with Legends Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix to write the classic Fancy AF Cocktails. Amir Yass from the hit podcast, The Take On, steps Behind The Rope. David was recently on an episode of Amir’s podcast (check it out). These two Geminis catch up like old friends, bond over being podcast hosts and get right into it. Amir used to work in PR with celebrities such as Queen Paris Hilton, JLO, Mariah Carey, Gwen Stefani and Melissa McCarthy. From there, Amir fell into working with reality TV talent and the Bravo world. He has worked with The Kardashians and Lord Disick!! Not bad. His first Bravo client, our friend Patti Stanger. He also worked with the Tom’s Sandoval and Schwartz and Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd. Amir was responsible for arranging the opening party for TomTom. Do tell. He does. Amir spills all, the good, the bad, the ugly. Amir lets us know some of the highest maintenance celebrities he has ever worked for and some of the nicest. He compares “A” list celebrities to reality TV stars and lets us know who is more high maintenance to deal with. We had Amir slow down and spill all about the opening of TomTom, Jax, James Kennedy, Scheana Shay. We needed every last detail. For those who don’t know, Amir had a viral TikTok moment a few weeks back when he opened up about his past experiences working for LVP and Erika Jayne. He is here to explain what went wrong with both of those working relationships and what he suggests each do differently. Thom Filicia steps Behind The Rope. Queer Eye For the Straight Guy. Bravo Royalty. Let us just take that in for a hot second. Thom takes us back to the beginning of how he got cast for Queer Eye by getting stuck in an elevator. True story. Thom talks about the behind the scenes filming, producer involvement, and what he thought about the finished product once the show aired. He talks about how life changed once Queer Eye came out and catapulted him into the public eye. Of course we discuss cast mates Carson Kressley, Jai Rodriguez, Ted Allen and Kyan Douglas - what they were like back then and the current status of his relationships with each today. We discuss what Bravo was like in those early days, the evolution of the network, and Andy Cohen. We also discuss how Queer Eye helped change the landscape for LGBTQIA representation on television. Thom tells us stories from the vault about designing projects for celebrity clients such as JLO. Speaking of celebrities, we discuss how many want “stuff for free” (cue Bobby Berk and the infamous unnamed RHONY) and discuss how Thom recommends handling business situations such as these. Thom also tells us about that one time he was backstage with Kyle Richards at WWHL where the discussion turned to all things Puppy Gate and Lucy Lucy Apple Juice and the many nights he has had out with his ex-boyfriend’s BFF, Dorinda Medley.
