Heather Marianna (90 Day Fiancé) - on RHOC, RHOBH, RHONY & 90 Day Fiancė) Nov 23, 2020
    Show notes

Heather Marianna from Bravo’s “Tour Group” Steps Behind The Rope. What? You don’t remember that show? Neither does Heather. Ok she does, she has just tried to block it out of her mind. We discuss how she showed up for “Tour Group” expecting a bunch of hot young singles and, well, that isn’t quite what she got. She discusses what happens when you show up to film a reality TV show for Bravo and just don’t feel like filming it. Hint: Producers and Bravo don’t take lightly to such things. We also talk about Heather’s recent appearances on 90 Day Fiancé. Do tell. She does. Heather knows a thing to two about having a fiancé. She has been engaged thirteen, yes, that is correct, thirteen times. Besides starting on several reality TV shows, Heather is a reality TV junkie and also knows many of our favorite Housewives. We discuss it all RHOBH, RHONY, RHOC. Speaking of RHOC, Heather is very good friends with Jesus Jugs herself, Miss Alexis Bellino. Don’t let Heather’s playful attitude fool you though. She is CEO and Boss B of Beauty Kitchen, an all natural beauty line which is the “go too” product for all of our favs such as Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi Glanville, Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter. Heather is filled with stories from Behind The Rope and is more than happy to share. Thanks for the products and stopping by Heather!

Sukihana (on Love & Hip Hop, Cardi B, Lil' Kim, Her Music, & Only Fans) Nov 20, 2020
    Show notes

Love & Hip Hop’s Sukihana steps Behind The Rope. Don’t judge this book by its cover, Sukihana is really smart, something she says is "not assumed" and the biggest misconception about her upon first glance. Actually, Sukihana, who named herself after a restaurant that she loves, is a marketing savant who makes approximately $100,000 per video on Only Fans. No really, she bought a Bentley with her Only Fans coins. That marketing savviness has also helped her amass a whopping 1.3 Million Instagram Followers who watch her every move. Those moves include putting “it all” out there for the world to see and enjoy. Extremely body and sex positive, Sukihana is open about her upbringing, becoming a Mom at a young age, and finding social media stardom by living her authentic life. She discusses how she handles social media trolls and how she is able to maintain that positive attitude of hers on a daily basis. Of course, we discuss Sukihana’s time on Love & Hip Hop: Miami and how she became an instant “fan favorite” of the franchise. We also discuss those infamous Love & Hip Hop reunions, hosted by our friend, The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Claudia Jordan. David & Suki discuss which of the Peach Holders are their favorites and who is the best “reader”. We also discuss her featured role in Cardi B’s wildly popular “WAP” music video, what it was like to work with Cardi, and what she thought of Kylie Jenner’s star turn in the video as well. Finally, Sukihana discusses the release of her brilliant “Wolf Pu$$y” mixtape, her musical influences such as Lil’ Kim and Foxy Brown (who David saw during one of Kandi Burruss’ “Welcome To The Dungeon” live shows) and answers the question, what is next for Sukihana? In a nutshell, a lot as she is one busy woman!! Enjoy.

TRINITY "The Tuck" TAYLOR - (On Winning Drag Race & Much More!) - Part I Nov 19, 2020
    Show notes

Trinity “The Tuck” Taylor steps Behind The Rope. We are not worthy. Checking in from her home in Orlando, Florida, Trinity stops by to chat about all that she has been up to since we last saw her on our TV screens on RuPaul’s Drag Race (Season 9, All Stars Season 4). Originally from a small town outside Birmingham, Alabama, Trinity entered a drag competition at a local bar when she found out you could win money. She entered and lost. After two more tries she won the competition, kept winning week after week and was eventually asked to not enter in order to give others a chance to win. Self taught hair, makeup, clothes, Trinity took to drag like a moth to a flame. Trinity discusses the biggest misconceptions and best things about the profession, the path one takes to make a career out of drag and the business side of it all. Flash forward to RuPaul's Drag Race Season 9 where Trinity found herself a contestant in the most coveted of all races. Trinity discusses filming, the competitions, the lip synchs and other behind the scenes tidbits from being a Drag Race contestant. We also discuss fellow contestants such as Sasha Velour, Peppermint, and Shea Coulee. Of course we also discuss RuPaul, what meeting RuPaul like for the first time was like and the differences between the RuPaul we see on camera versus the man behind the drag. Trinity dishes on those other Drag Race Judges Carson Kressley, Michelle Visage and Ross Matthews. Finally, we discuss some of Drag Race’s infamous Guests Judges such as Lady Gaga and Meghan Trainor. Oh yea, there is also that thing that happened, she won All Stars Season Four. We discuss what that was like, did she ever expect it, and what was it like to share the title with Monet X. Change.

    Show notes

Martyn Lawrence Bullard steps Behind The Rope. Martyn fills us in on what he has been up to since we last saw him on our TV Screens on Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators. By age twelve, he was using his allowance money to buy various objects at the local London flea market which he would later arrange and make look pretty. With dreams of becoming a movie star, prior to his design career, Martyn moved to sunny Los Angeles approximately thirty years ago. His first big break in design came from sitting next to Original Supermodel Cheryl Tiegs at a wedding. By the end of the wedding she had hired him to decorate her house and, from there, his design business started to take off. Martyn Lawrence Bullard Design was born. Martyn chats with us about his “Design Style” and his Design “Dos” and Dont’s”. We also chat about how Martyn was cast on Bravo’s classic “Million Dollar Decorators” and his relationships with his co-stars Mary McDonald, Kathryn Ireland, and Jeffrey Alan Marks. Below Deck's Elizabeth Frankini (Meet Your New Stew!) Nov 16, 2020
    Show notes

Below Deck's newest Stew, Elizabeth Frankini, steps Behind The Rope. With the epic new season of Below Deck underway, Elizabeth is here so we can get to know her a little better. The woman behind what we have seen on TV these first few weeks of the show. In one of her first interviews, well ever, Elizabeth chats about her freshman season on the hit Bravo show. She explains how she got into yachting and how “Below Deck”, the TV show, is perceived in the yachting industry. Elizabeth explains how she was cast as one of this season's Stews, how the Below Deck Charters differ from Real World Charters, the most high maintenance guests she has ever had, both on and off camera, the biggest tip she has ever received, and what she likes and dislikes most about the job of Yachtie Stew. Elizabeth gives us a few hints on what we can expect this season of Below Deck and how it differs from prior seasons. She hints at a few romantic entanglements but lets us know that we will have to just wait and see. She also hints at a few moments which may make her cringe as the season progresses and she watches along with the rest of us. Elizabeth also discusses the disappointment she experienced when she realized her Chief Stew would not be Icon Kate Chastain. Speaking of Kate Chastain, Elizabeth discusses how new Below Deck Chief Stew, Francesca Rubi, differs from Kate Chastain and whether, after working with Francesca for this past season, she thinks she would still prefer Kate as a boss. Finally, we discuss just how fun it will be to save this interview and check in with Elizabeth toward seasons end, to see just how much she has changed as a person as a result of spending one season abroad one of Bravo TV’s highest rated shows. Welcome Elizabeth! Cannot wait to get to know ya better!

Don Gunvalson & Lee Radziwill Nov 14, 2020
    Show notes

Don Gunvalson and Lee Radziwill step Behind The Rope. Ok, it is Jordan and Justin Meyers, the famous, or as some say infamous, Brothers behind these two well known Twitter Monikers. First off, we discuss how these Brothers decided to become Twitter sensations in the Housewives world. We say sensations, but some say Blocked By. In fact, as of air date, Don Gunvalson and Lee Radziwill are blocked by several Housewives including, but not limited to, Kyle Richards, Shannon Beador, Tamra Judge, and Kelly Dodd. Not a bad record. Of course, we also discuss what Vicki Gunvalson and Carole Radziwill had to say when they contacted the boys. We can only imagine. These two boys are here here to bring the shade. We discuss every franchise: RHOBH (Who really lives in Beverly Hills and who doesn’t, we told you these boys are shady); RHONY (Cast shake ups, anyone); RHOP (This epic Season 5 and the Monique / Candiace physical altercation); RHOA (Give Marlo a Peach and Nene’s ongoing contract issues); RHONJ (David’s IRL Friends); RHOC (How does one get blocked by more than half the current cast); RHOD (How will the franchise be without LeeAnne Locken?); RHOSL (Coming Soon). Their tweets actually caused a major feud at a RHONY reunion past between Carole Radziwill and Luann de Lesseps. Then there was the time that the Lee Radziwill Twitter account was mentioned on Odd Mom Out by Abby Elliot’s Character. Also, have you seen their twitter this past week when PK, yes our friend PK, came for them for making a comment about our beloved Dorit NOT knowing this was not the real Don Gunvalson & Lee Radziwill. We just cannot!!! These are THE Twitter Accounts that have all the Housewives’ attention, and for good reason! You do NOT want to miss this one!!!

Sean Kanan (on General Hospital, Karate Kid, Studio City & New Book) Nov 13, 2020
    Show notes

Sean Kanan steps Behind The Rope. Let us start at the beginning. Sean moved to LA many years ago to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. His first big break came in 1989 when he was cast in The Karate Kid Part III. The following year he starred on the Fox television series “The Outsiders”. As brilliant a show as that was, it was cancelled way too soon which led to an audition for a little show known as General Hospital. Sean got the job to play the infamous A.J. Quartermaine and the rest is history. Sean is kind enough to entertain our many questions about his General Hospital Co-Stars Ricky Martin, Vanessa Marcil, and Antonio Sabato Jr. He also discusses some of his other “Soap Opera” friends such as Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson. Sean discusses the differences between being on General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless. He should know as he has had starring roles on them all. One of the roles he is most proud of is his current role in Studio City, a stellar Emmy Award Winning Amazon Prime Dramedy that he also created and spent many years trying to get off the ground. A Daytime Soap Show within a show, Sean created an alternate world he knows everything about getting the help of some of his soap friends such as Tristan Rogers. Finally, Sean, author of “The Modern Gentleman” and “Success Factor X”, has a third book coming out soon and if it is anything like the first two, it will be a must read.
