Janice Dickinson (on Top Model, Tyra, Kendall, Gigi, Lisa Rinna, RHOBH, The Kardashians & Being The World First Supermodel) - II Jun 17, 2022

Show notes

Janice Dickinson steps Behind The Rope. Let me repeat that. Janice Dickinson. Icon. Living Legend in the Flesh. The World’s First Supermodel. The Simon Cowell of America’s Next Top Model. Reality TV veteran from before reality TV was reality TV a la Oxygen’s “The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency”. In true Janice fashion, she - DOES - NOT - HOLD - BACK! Of course, we begin with a chat about Janice’s early career where we talk about her then Supermodel colleagues Cindy Crawford, Elle Macpherson, Linda Evangelista, Kate Moss and last, but certainly not least, Tyra Banks and the many men in her life for a moment, a moment plus, or what could have been a moment, Mick Jagger, Sylvester Stallone, Simon Le Bon. Speaking of Tyra Banks, Janice was front and center for the first many cycles of the juggernaut hit “America's Next Top Model” as the most outspoken judge. Notoriously anti-plus size model, Janice has never shied away from controversy or speaking her mind. Janice opens up about how she clashed with Tyra, discusses Tyra’s notoriously bad on set behavior and is kind enough, we asked, ok begged, to reveal secrets from behind the scenes of filming. As often happens here Behind The Rope, all roads lead to Housewives or, in this case, Housewives offspring and Kardashians. Janice shares her opinions on the current modeling industry and models like Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Delilah Belle Hamlin, Bella Hadid, Amelia Gray Hamlin, Hailey Baldwin and Kaia Gerber - how do they compare to the Icons of yesteryear and have they earned, or instead bought, their way in with money and / or a famous last name. We also address the current “influencer”, for lack of a better word, culture and how anyone with abs and a great pair of t*ts can be insta-famous. While we had Janice, and lucky we are to have been graced by the presence of royalty, we had to ask about her current relationship with Tyra and if she feels differently all these years later. We also pay homage to all, and we mean all, those other Reality TV shows she has been a part of: Botched!, Celebrity Big Brother, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and The Surreal Life.

Kathy Hilton/Lisa Rinna Update, Bethenny Frankel RHONY Update, NeNe Leakes/Andy Cohen Update & More Jun 16, 2022

Show notes

So much Bravo tea, so little time. The Kathy Hilton / Lisa Rinna feud seems to be taking a different turn every day, hour, minute and we are here to break it all down, unentangle the webs which have been weaved and dissect where these two really stand today. In other news, we deep dive whether all of Bethenny Frankel’s many statements that she wants to distance herself from The Real Housewives are incongruous to selfies with Tre, Mel. Kyle and Kathy at The MTV Awards and recent claims that she would be part of the RHONY OG show if Alex McCord participated and left her home in Australia. In other OG news, Countess Lu helps open a rehab facility with an open bar and NeNe Leakes wishes Daddy Cohen a Happy Birthday. Finally, we share an RHOC Season 17 update, an Erika Jayne update and an RHOBH current season temperature check.

Show notes

Kim D. is here to chat about all the goings on in RHONJ land this week. First and foremost, Tre had to resend her wedding invites thanks to one Miss Ramona Singer. Tre did take a break from the MTV movie awards to invite Margaret to her wedding, shade Mel by showing love for her newfound sister in laws - Luis’ sisters, and reveal more wedding details as the August date grows near. Speaking of Luis, he claims Margaret is a great woman while Marge has been spending her days “liking” Tre’s IG posts. There is so much to unpack and we haven’t even gotten to Kim D’s unexpected phone call from Miss Dolores Catania. Heading west, Kim breaks down this week's RHOBH - Erika Jayne grabs popcorn for the Crystal / Sutton show, Kyle, as usual, helps move the story along, Diana is still rich rich rich and, on a serious note, RIP Mama Lois Rinna! Finally, Kim shares her newfound love for RHODubai’s Chanel Ayan, goat and all, chats Nina’s allegiance to Chanel vs. Caroline Stanbury and breaks down Miss Stanbury’s return to our Bravo screens, hot hubby and all.

Show notes

Lisa Rinna has certainly been keeping us entertained both on and off air this RHOBH season. Rinna’s feuding with Kathy Hilton, responding to unknown own cell phone numbers and fending off Kelly Dodd’s claims that Harry Hamlin is gay. That is just the beginning. In other 90210 news, Kyle calls out LVP, LVP has receipts and we ponder, would Miss Vanderpump ever return to the show if Kyle resigns, as she claims she may be ready for. In other news, Stassi and Beau are mad, mad, mad Brittany and Jax did not attend their Italian wedding and seems they have texts to prove all sorts of things about their ex(?) BFFS? Meanwhile on the east coast, Caroline Manzo wants to return to RHONJ to put Tre in her place and Gizelle Bryant seems to have a new mystery man? Might we see him on the new season of RHOP? All this plus real life run ins this week with Andy Cohen, Brooks Marks, Paris Jackson, Eva Longoria and many more!
