Show notes

Carlos King steps Behind The Rope. The man, the myth, the legend. The King has entered the building. Carlos is here to chat about the early days of RHOA - when we didn’t know a Nene from a Sheree, when Kim Zolciak Biermann was just the "other" Kim in our lives, when we didn’t know that you could be tardy for any party and when we had not heard of Porsha, Kandi, Cynthia, Marlo or any of the other later icons to be. Carlos also talks early RHONJ, which here was there for as Producer as well - before Teresa was Tre, when Danielle Staub was the star of the show and the Manzo’s were still in our lives on the weekly. Of course, Carlos also chats his fav current Housewives and franchises, the current state of all Housewives and can this juggernaut last forever. As we said, the King has finally arrived!

CLAUDIA JORDAN (on RHOA Past/Present/Future & Nene Leakes)! Jul 15, 2022

Show notes

Claudia Jordan steps back Behind The Rope. Claudia is here today to chat about all things, what else, The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She explains how she ran into a RHOA producer at a West Hollywood gay bar and from there, the wheels were in motion. Claudia chats about her prior friendship with Kenya Moore, her arrival in Atlanta and just how she went from “Friend Of” to “Official Peach Holder” on this highly rated Housewives franchise. One word: Nene. Remember that infamous cast trip? Claudia chats about how welcome, hint - not much - she felt by Nene, Nene’s refusing to film certain scenes and how Nene treated everyone on set. She also chats about the remainder of her co-stars Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss, and Cynthia Bailey - what working with each was like and the status of her friendship with each today. Speaking of Miss Linnethia Leakes, Claudia chats about Nene’s departure from RHOA this past season. On a larger scale, we discuss the concept of “everyone is replaceable” and how some times some people can be their own worst enemy. Claudia also discusses whether Nene’s current actions regarding Bravo and Andy Cohen have gone too far to “the place of no return” or can she still make a return to the network, or any other network for that matter, in the near future. Claudia is currently living in Dallas, Texas with her boyfriend and yes she knows some of our favorite Real Housewives of Dallas such LeeAnne Locken (they just had an epic day of drinks together), D’Andra Simmons (she thinks Claudia should be an RHOD) and Kary Brittingham (they have had recent real life beef). Finally, Claudia reflects on her time on the show and answers the age old question, would she ever go back.
