Attorney Emily D. Baker (Shares Update on Erika Jayne's Legal Drama, Potential RHOBH Cast / Bravo Exposure & Her Future on Housewives)! Sep 28, 2022

Show notes

Emily D. Baker steps back Behind The Rope. So much has been written, discussed, hypothesized and analyzed about the legal cases of Real Housewives’ Erika Jayne and Jen Shah. Even with our legal degree we find it daunting, at best, to make sense of it all so we can only imagine how y’all feel. As a result, we did the only thing we could think of doing. Call in our fav legal commentator, and former LA Deputy District Attorney, Emily D. Baker to help make sense of it all. Emily breaks down Erika’s recent $50M Racketeering Lawsuit, the shocking new claims against Miss Jayne, being served at LAX after a vacay with Rinna and Diana Jenkins, those $1.4M earrings that just wont seem to go away and what this means for her future on RHOBH. Emily also breaks down Jen Shah’s recent guilty plea in her criminal fraud case, why she plead guilty, what we can expect from sentencing, her, Andy Cohen, the RHOSLC cast and public’s reaction to Jen’s guilty plea and what this means for her, her family and RHOSLC’s future. Finally, we chat other current cases, Bravo events, and this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As always Ms. Baker, thanks for helping make sense of it all!

Heather Matarazzo (on Welcome To The Dollhouse, Scream, Roseanne, Grey's Anatomy, Madonna & "Making It" In Hollywood) - II Sep 20, 2022

Show notes

Heather Matarazzo steps back Behind The Rope. Heather chats about the full trajectory of her career from her first film, The Sundance winning “Welcome to The Dollhouse” to her current days as a working actress “making it” in Hollywood. Heather chats Dollhouse - what it was like to lead a feature film as your first project, how life changed after and why this film is still so beloved as the teen angst voice of “other” or “different” for many generations to come. We chat hot takes on some of Heather’s projects after Dollhouse - The Princess Diaries, Scream, Roseanne, The L Word and Grey’s Anatomy to name a few. Heather opens up about the struggles she has faced over the years in Hollywood trying to find work, the many misperceptions the public has about life in the biz, her viral tweets on the subject earlier this year, her own struggles with mental health as a result and where she, and Hollywood, are today regarding it all! Finally, as a member of the LGBTQIA community, Heather talks representation, new movie “The Mattachine Family” and, of course, her wife’s tribute book to Queen Madonna because as we often say, all roads lead back to Madame M.
