    • Scream VI grossed $44.5M domestically, $22.6M internationally for a global total of $67M, the best opening in the series
    • Creed III grossed an additional $24M, for a global total now of $179M
    • 65 exceeded expectations and grossed $12.3M
    • Champions grossed $5.15M from 3000 screens

    Creed III made a heavyweight impact at the box office this week, so we’re taking on the numbers and the audience analysis for Michael B. Jordan’s feature directorial debut, as well as a month-in-review of February 2023, comparing its box office performance with previous years, our favourite titles of the month, and what trends February might show us for the coming months.

    Box Office Overview:

    • Creed III grossed just under $60M domestically, well above industry expectations, and totalled $100.4M globally
    • Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba grossed 10.1M domestically
    • Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania took in a further $12.5M for a total of nearly $187M domestically
    • Cocaine Bear grossed an additional $11M for a current total of $41M domestically
    • Jesus Revolution grossed an additional $8.7M, for a current total of $30.5M domestically

    Audience Insights Overview for Creed III:

    • Infrequent moviegoers accounted for 36% of the audience, compared with 23% for Creed II
    • Gender demographics were identical to Creed II with 62% Male and 38% Female audience members

    Cocaine Bear vs Jesus Revolution Feb 28, 2023

    • Quantumania’s $176M cumulative domestic total is 77% of Ant-Man and the Wasp’s lifetime gross after only 10 days
    • Cocaine Bear grossed $5.3M internationally and $23.1M domestically

    • 31% of the audience were Infrequent moviegoers and 7% were Very Frequent
    • 64% of the audience was Male
    • All age ranges saw representation: 19% of the audience were in the 25-34 age bracket, 18% were 35-44, 17% were 44-54, and 10% were 55-64

    • Infrequent moviegoers made up 50% of the audience, while only 14% of the audience were Frequent, and 3% Very Frequent
    • Moviegoers aged 65+ comprised 36% of the audience
