Injustice For All Part 2 Review Jul 29, 2026

Our hosts return to the Podtower to watch and review Injustice For All Part 2.

Alex and Will find that part 2 is not as good as part 1, however it features some great Batman moments as he quickly manipulates and plays the Injustice Gang against each other. But, maybe using bribery with Ultra Humanite was a step too far - it is a crime after all!

Injustice For All Part 1 Review Jul 22, 2026

The Enemy Below Part 2 Review Jul 15, 2026

Secret Origins Part 3 Review Jun 17, 2026

Our hosts return to the Podtower to review the third and final instalment of Secret Origins. Alex and Will share their thoughts on the three-part story as a whole and come away feeling a little underwhelmed.

They also spotlight the episode's musical score, noting its uncanny resemblance to Pirates of the Caribbean and wondering whether Hans Zimmer may have stolen it from this show. Another film comparison that Alex notices is from The Matrix, in both the music and the aliens' plan to block out the sun.

Secret Origins Part 2 Review Jun 10, 2026

Our hosts return to the Podtower to continue their review of Part 2 of Secret Origins.

While the episode brings together some of DC's biggest heroes for the first time, Alex and Will come away feeling surprisingly underwhelmed by the experience. They discuss whether introducing so many major characters at once weakens the impact of their eventual team-up and wonder if a few heroes might have been better saved for later episodes.

Secret Origins Part 1 Review Jun 03, 2026

Alex and Will leave the Podcave behind and move into the Podtower as they begin the next stage of Batman’s journey through the DCAU with Justice League and watch, “Secret Origins, Part 1.”

Along the way, they discuss Batman’s updated design for the series, meet the newest heroes joining the expanding animated universe, and take a look at the talented voice cast bringing them to life. Judgment Day Review Apr 29, 2026

Our hosts return to the Podcave to review the final episode of Batman: The Animated Series, “Judgment Day.”

Alex and Will dive into the debut of The Judge and explore just how much he mirrors The Phantasm. Such as both characters being shadowy, masked figures with chilling voices, who stalk their targets in deeply unsettling ways, and all the while building toward a surprise identity reveal.

Along the way, they wonder what happens to Two-Face’s apartment while he’s locked up in Arkham? Why doesn’t The Judge find it suspicious that he knows so much about Two-Face? And how does Batman expect anyone to not notice his wildly over-the-top pirate disguise?

The episode also serves as a tribute to Richard Moll, arguably the greatest Two-Face ever put on screen. As a final goodbye, Alex and Will pack the discussion with enough “number two” puns to make your head spin…TWICE!

But, DO NOT think that this is the last episode of the Podcast, as our hosts will be continuing their journey through the DCAU and following Batman into Justice League.
