Episode 23: Mom bladder problems Nov 08, 2023
    Show notes

This week is a short but sweet episode, starting off with a weekend recap of Libby’s anniversary dinner at Limani in Chestnut Hill. Laura has us all laughing about her story about getting pulled over after peeing her pants driving back from Boston! And to top it off, she had a full CO2 mask on after visiting Jenny Grande at Meredith Lane Aesthetics for a Moxi laser treatment, a Biopeel and a little BBL around her chin.

We touch on kids in sports and some fun upcoming plans.

We discuss a few "hot takes" on whether you should you be tracking your partner, and answered a question from one of our listeners about concerns over her boyfriends frequent late night outings.

Liz tells us all about how she recently discovered a SCID advocate, @bekaherway, and is very interested in becoming a bone marrow transplant through @bethematch, which could potentially save lives or give longevity to those in need💜

Episode 21: Ready or Not Oct 25, 2023
    Show notes

Today starts off with a quick venting session amongst us ladies, sharing some stories over the weekend where our husbands pushed us to the edge! Then we dive right into our most requested topic - when we knew we wanted a second (or third), and what the transition was like bringing each new baby home. Liz gives us her overview of what pregnancy and life was like with her first, and the different dynamics between two siblings age differences. Laura tried for a few months with her first but had a huge surprise when she put it on pause for the holidays. Laura's second child was born (almost 2 years later) right when the pandemic hit - surviving covid babies was a different story. Then last but not least, Libby gets into her journey with the two boys, and opens up on the guilt that all moms feel - when you come home with the new baby and learning how to divide your attention amongst the baby and older sibling(s), and the struggles that come along.

    Episode TWENTY! Q&A Style Oct 18, 2023
    Show notes

Hello episode 20 !! The last Q&A was so fun, we are doing it again! Ya'll were interested in what shows we are watching, where we love to shop (even though you know our universal go to is @bootybybrabants). Liz shares an amazing pro tip she uses when styling certain pieces. One of the most asked question we frequently get is, where do we meet mom friends?! Libby has some insight on where to go, and Laura talks all about how you should consider meeting new mom friends like dating - with intention! We hit on some major mom wins, and the dynamic between our kids growing up together. We also touch on ignoring judgement from other moms, learning about your partner's love languages, and how everyone shows and receives love. And of course.... what would be a Bad Wives Club episode without some talk about our husbands lack of memory?!

Episode 19: Tips & Tricks from a Pediatric Sleep Consultant Oct 11, 2023
    Show notes

Welcome to the bad wives club, Stellina! Today we have Stellina Ferri from tweet dreamzz on, sharing all the tips for newborns and toddlers sleep habits and schedules! Stellina is a certified pediatric sleep consultant, a mom to 2.5 year old twin girls and a 1 year old son. She talks about her sleep (or lack thereof) experience, and her positive outlook on NICU babies. As a once sleep deprived mom, as I’m sure you can all imagine with TWINS, she’s passionate about helping newborns, toddlers and young kids get consolidated nights sleep, take predictable naps, transition from the crib to bed (which as you guys will hear, Libby is desperate to figure out!), and room sharing. We also get into all the sleep props (pacifiers, feed to sleep, etc.) and some truths vs myths on regressions, sound machines, and other things! Whether you’ve experienced sleep struggles before or are a first time mom, this episode is for you! Libby had such great success working with Stellina, and she knows you will too if you’ve been thinking about getting some extra help💜 Now through the end of October, Tweet Dreamzz is giving 10% off to all BWC listeners! Just tell them we sent you after your phone consult!

Episode 18: Time to take the trash out Oct 04, 2023
    Show notes

This episode starts out with a little Jenny B recap, lip flips, an upcoming trip to NYC, and how we 10/10 recommend taking your kids to see the new paw patrol movie. Then we dive deep into today's topic - removing toxicity from your life. One major take away from this episode is that toxicity doesn’t always mean or relate to a person! It can be a bad habit, energy, excuses, negative self talk, etc. We discuss all these different types of toxicity, real life examples we've dealt with, and how we got through them.

Episode 15: Kindergarten Jitters & Parenting Pressures Sep 13, 2023
    Show notes

In todays episode we are talking about our anxieties of leaving the kids (or in Liz's case, taking them with her) while we are away in Aruba. JJ and Kiki are heading into their first week of KINDERGARTEN, although Laura is missing Kiki's first day, and JJ is missing his first week...is that bad?! Absolutely not. Then we get into the pressure of sports and activities for kids, and us parents accepting what may or may not be what we wanted for them, and letting them tell us what there true passion and interests are and letting them go with it, despite how we feel. Parenting can be hard...but being that stage mom can be so rewarding!
