Show notes

Man of Steel (2013) tries to reboot Superman with Henry Cavill—but is it a CGI-heavy wreck! Explosions, brooding stares, and a Zod fight that flattens Metropolis—yikes! This $225M blockbuster is packed with dark vibes, questionable choices, and zero fun. Is this a superhero epic or total trash?

Show notes

Super Mario Bros. (1993) takes Mario and Luigi into a dystopian Mushroom Kingdom—where Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo fight a dinosaur dictator (Dennis Hopper) with bad haircuts and terrible dialogue! This ‘90s video game flop is packed with weird goombas, the wrong princess, and a plot that makes no sense. Is this a cult classic or total trash?

#213 - John Carter (2012) Jun 06, 2025

Show notes

John Carter (2012) is a $250M sci-fi flop that sends Taylor Kitsch to Mars—where he fights CGI aliens, jumps really far, and… red team fights blue team? Lynn Collins tries to save it, but the plot’s a mess, the names are unpronounceable (Tharks? Barsoom?), and the box office fell flat. Is this a misunderstood epic or total trash?

Jim Varney’s Ernest P. Worrell is back in Ernest Goes to Camp (1987)—and it’s a slapstick disaster! Ernest becomes a camp counselor, battles bratty kids, and fights evil developers with… turtles? This ‘80s kids’ flick is packed with goofy stunts, wild accents, and Ernest’s “KnoWhutIMean?” catchphrase. Is this a nostalgic gem or total trash?

#211 - Mortal Kombat (1995) May 23, 2025

Show notes

Get ready for a ‘90s cheese fest with Mortal Kombat (1995)! Liu Kang, Sonya, and Johnny Cage fight Shang Tsung in a tournament to save Earth—but it’s all bad CGI, stiff animatronics, and “Finish Him!” fails. The techno soundtrack slaps, but the acting? Fatality! Is this a cult classic or total trash?
