Host Adam Burke was back on the air for what was a longer-than-intended edition of ATS Radio. He started with the World Series and some MLB thoughts. Rays vs. Dodgers Game 6 is tomorrow and Adam talked about the angles he’s looking to play. He also talked about how the series has played out so far and how the Rays are lucky to have gotten to this point. Finally, he wrapped up talking about how he’ll evaluate 2020 with a focus on the 2021 season.
At 18:15, it was time to talk college football. Adam launched into some injury updates from around college football, including QB injuries/illnesses at Wisconsin, Coastal Carolina, and Troy. Adam then discussed the adjustments that he made to his power ratings, some of the overlays that he has relative to the market, and shared a bunch of interesting box score nuggets that were part of his power ratings update process.

Host Adam Burke is always honest and forthright about his handicapping process in the NFL and in any other sport and he talked at length today about his picks and leans for Week 7 in the Circa Sports Million II. So far, Adam is 18-11-1 with his NFL picks and he’s looking for some good fortune and some good handicapping to have a good showing this weekend.

The majority of today’s edition of ATS Radio was focused on college football, as host Adam Burke and pro bettor and handicapper Brad Powers talked about their power ratings for the Mountain West Conference and the Big Ten Conference as those two begin this week. The guys also discussed several games, including Arkansas State vs. Appalachian State, Louisiana vs. UAB, a highlight video on Notre Dame vs. Pitt, Alabama vs. Tennessee, NC State vs. UNC, Virginia Tech vs. Wake Forest, Iowa State vs. Oklahoma State, Oklahoma vs. TCU, and a highlight video for Michigan vs. Minnesota.
On the NFL side, the guys talked about their dislike of the card and some different betting strategies, including a more simplified approach. They also talked about how well double-digit favorites have done in the NFL and more while discussing the pros.

Host Adam Burke and pro bettor and handicapper Kyle Hunter had lots and lots of notes, information, nuggets, picks, predictions, and analysis to share with listeners on the October 21 edition of ATS Radio. Adam and Kyle started in college football with regression notes and box score study before taking a look at their power ratings for the Big Ten as they start play this week.
Game breakdowns included Arkansas State vs. Appalachian State, Louisiana vs. UAB, and highlight videos of Penn State vs. Indiana and Iowa State vs. Oklahoma State. They then transitioned to the NFL to hit on a few games, including a highlight video on Jaguars vs. Chargers.

After opening up the show with some words on NHL news, the Olympics, and some things to keep in mind for the future of the feeder systems for the pro sports, the guys talked NFL and highlighted several games in the process.
Adam and Brian talked about overreactions in the market with a focus on Buccaneers vs. Raiders and then turned their attentions to Bills vs. Jets, Seahawks vs. Cardinals, and 49ers vs. Patriots.

Host Adam Burke and pro handicapper and bettor Brad Powers opened up the show by talking about bankroll management and everything that goes into the betting process, including market entry, being organized, and the philosophies behind being a successful bettor. After hitting on those important topics, the guys talked college football with picks, predictions, and breakdowns on Georgia State vs. Arkansas State, SMU vs. Tulane, BYU vs. Houston, an overview of the ACC, a highlight video on Auburn vs. South Carolina, UCF vs. Memphis, and then another highlight video for Georgia vs. Alabama.
On the NFL side, the guys discussed key numbers and how they fit in with all of the big totals that we’ve seen this season. The guys also talked about whether or not cards with shorter lines are easier or harder to handicap. NFL Week 6 Picks & CJ Cup with Brian Blessing October 13, 2020 Oct 13, 2020

Host Adam Burke and Brian Blessing opened up by talking some NHL. Brian is most definitely a hockey guy and he’s been following the NHL Draft, the Free Agent Frenzy, and the trades, so the guys hit on the early futures market and some teams to watch with the season hopefully beginning again on January 1.
Then they moved over to the NFL, with some quick thoughts on tonight’s Bills vs. Titans game and then a bevy of Week 6 thoughts, including Falcons vs. Vikings, Browns vs. Steelers, and Packers vs. Buccaneers. Lastly, the guys went to Shadow Creek to talk about the CJ Cup and rattled off six or seven names that you might want to look at a little more closely for this week’s tournament.
