Host Adam Burke flies solo on Mondays to talk all things college football. On the November 23 edition of ATS Radio, Adam shared a cautionary tale and talked about what he’s seeing about how the betting markets are handling teams that have COVID outbreaks or have recently had cancellations. This has been a very unique betting year to say the least and it’s important to keep those things in mind as we go forward.
Adam had a lot of power ratings adjustments to talk about, including some moves with Kent State, UMass, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Syracuse, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Georgia, Temple, NIU, and a slew of other teams. There were some fascinating box score nuggets coming out of Week 12 that Adam keyed in on and then he talked about his lines that are off from the market and some Week 13 plays that have already been locked in.

Circa Million NFL Betting Picks Week 11 November 20, 2020 Nov 20, 2020

Host Adam Burke had his worst week of the year in the Circa Sports Million II in Week 10. The hangover from that has bled into the handicapping of Week 11, as a crisis of confidence has led to a lot of uncertainty with a tough card. Before breaking down his thoughts and picks, Adam gave an update on how things stand in the contest as a whole in terms of how the field is doing, the full-season and third quarter standings, and the consensus numbers.
After doing some of that housekeeping, Adam talked about some totals that he likes for this week and lamented how he is limited to sides only in the Circa. With two very likely picks and a list of five leans cut down to four because the Saints are inexplicably starting Taysom Hill, Adam discussed some stats, matchup angles, and situational spots that have pushed him to settle in on the six games that he covered on today’s podcast.

Host Adam Burke and pro bettor and handicapper Kyle Hunter from HunterSportsPicks.com talked about a lot of box score news and notes, regression signs, tempo changes, and worked in game picks and breakdowns throughout as they talked college football on the November 18 podcast. The guys discussed some regression signs from teams like West Virginia, Virginia, TCU, Oregon, Illinois, Rutgers, and Colorado State, as well as some box score notes that could impact this week’s handicaps.
Over the course of the show, game thoughts included Iowa vs. Penn State, Missouri vs. South Carolina, USC vs. Utah, Indiana vs. Ohio State, and Kansas State vs. Iowa State. The guys also teased some college basketball prep with where to go in order to find information, how some sites are less appreciated than others, and why some sites aren’t going to give you much of an edge. They’ll talk a lot more college basketball on next week’s show.

Host Adam Burke and guest Brian Blessing always talk about a lot of different topics on Tuesdays and that was no different today. The guys started by shooting the breeze a little bit and then focused on the lower totals in the NFL due to weather and the COVID spikes across the country that are making it tough for leagues to get started and for bettors to decide what and when to bet.
A look at Week 11 featured thoughts on Cardinals vs. Seahawks, Falcons vs. Saints, Patriots vs. Texans, Chiefs vs. Raiders, and Rams vs. Bucs. The guys also took a look at the RSM Classic at Sea Island to discuss their picks to win and the types of players to consider on this course with only two PGA Tour events left for the 2020 calendar year.

College Football Betting Week 12 Update Nov 16, 2020

Host Adam Burke was asked by listeners to do something on Mondays to talk about college football and he’s done that for a few weeks in a row. He did it again on November 16 to discuss his updated power ratings, observations, box score nuggets, and games that are likely to see some line moves as we go throughout the week. It took just over 40 minutes, but it was a lot of good content and good preparation for the week ahead.
Adam talked about several big adjustments to his power ratings, including Michigan, Penn State, Minnesota, South Carolina, Stanford, USC, and Iowa. He also talked about how his lines compare with the betting markets and even lamented a couple of good overlay opportunities that he missed. He talked about some box score news and notes that could have influence in the betting markets and should at least have some bearing on how you evaluate the teams. Lastly, Adam talked about the philosophies of teams now as they play out the string or keep pushing forward towards their goals.

Before diving into his picks and analysis for Week 10, Adam took some time to talk about what is happening in the contest as a whole, as the field looks to bounce back from its worst week ever in the Circa Sports Million at 41.19%. He gave an update on the start to the third quarter and the standings and leaders.
Then it was time to focus on the ATS.IO-2 entry and the five picks that will make up the Week 10 card. Adam shared three very likely picks and a list of four leans with listeners, as we await some news on the COVID and injury fronts before the picks are officially locked in with our proxy on Saturday. The Masters & NFL Week 10 Picks with Brian Blessing November 10, 2020 Nov 10, 2020

Host Adam Burke and regular Tuesday guest Brian Blessing changed it up a bit this week by starting with The Masters at Augusta National. Adam and Brian talked about how the course will play a bit different and also talked about how a distance bias is playing out in the betting odds for the tournament. They discussed players they like, angles they’ll follow, why you should use the prop markets, and how Friday night might be the best time to bet outrights.
After exhausting every talking point on the Masters, the guys moved over to the NFL to discuss Week 10, including thoughts on the surprises at the midway point of the season, Colts vs. Titans, Buccaneers vs. Panthers, and Vikings vs. Bears with a good old fashioned NFC North clash on Monday Night Football. Unfortunately, due to Skype issues, we could not cut a highlight video for the games.
