Host Adam Burke and Tuesday guest Brian Blessing were happy to start off today’s show talking about an actual plan for the NHL instead of hypotheticals. Adam and Brian discussed the NHL’s 56-game regular season that starts on January 13 and about the new division format. The schedule will lead to some excellent betting opportunities and it never hurts to start planning ahead to a betting market that will yield value.
On the NFL side, it is Week 16 and Adam and Brian had a lot to discuss. Host Adam Burke was back on the airwaves with the Monday December 21 edition of ATS Radio to talk about all things bowl season. He started with some betting tips and advice about how to handle the uniqueness of this year’s set of games, including the shorter, quicker turnaround times to prepare for non-conference opponents and also what will happen with the odds and the timing in which bets are made.
Adam also talked about his power ratings adjustments in advance of the bowl games and some of the box score notes coming out of last weekend. Finally, Adam shared all of his bowl game lines and talked about which games he may be taking pregame positions on prior to kickoff.

Host Adam Burke had to turn the page after a disappointing 2-3 showing in Week 14 and he’ll hope to do that with his Week 15 picks in the Circa Sports Million II. With the ATS.IO-2 entry just 1.5 points out of the money, this is a huge week. Adam started the show with some thoughts on what went wrong last week, how our ATS.IO-1 entry is doing, and then the standings and how everything went across the field for Week 14.
Then it was time to dig into Adam’s picks and analysis. Adam talked about three very likely picks and a set of three leans for a card in which nothing has really jumped off of the page to this point. Adam broke down why he likes what he likes with some matchup analysis, stats, and his understanding of the line moves and some of the context clues in the betting market.

Host Adam Burke and pro bettor and handicapper Brad Powers left very few stones unturned for this weekend on the gridiron. The guys started in on the Week 16 college football card and hit all of the conference championship games plus their favorite regular season games. UAB vs. Marshall, Ball State vs. Buffalo, Oregon vs. USC, Northwestern vs. Ohio State, Oklahoma vs. Iowa State, Louisiana vs. Coastal Carolina, Clemson vs. Notre Dame, Tulsa vs. Cincinnati, Alabama vs. Florida, and Boise State vs. San Jose State all got airtime on the podcast.
On the NFL side of things, the guys jumped right into the games by talking about Chargers vs. Raiders on Thursday Night Football. Adam and Kyle talked in general about the college football regular season and discussed some of their potential plays and power ratings overlays in those final games. Host Adam Burke started out the show by talking about how weird of a week this is in college football. We’ve got regular season games and conference championship games and a bowl game. There was a lot to discuss coming out of Week 15 and nobody does it better than Adam, as he talked about some power ratings adjustments made based on performance or the closing line and about games that he’s looking to bet for this week.
Adam talked about his lines for all of the conference championship games and his handicaps of those games as we get the betting process started for this week. Adam also shared some interesting box score notes and some words of advice on how to approach this week, especially with the regular season games that will be played.

After updating the stats and standings and discussing his position in the field, Adam talked about that big decision that he was forced to make on Thursday and we’ll wait now to see whether or not it hurts his chances of finishing in the money. The ATS.IO-2 entry is one point out of the money heading into this week and one of 177 entries that went 5-0 to start the Fourth Quarter.
Now, it is time to figure out Week 14. Adam talked about that decision that he was pressed into and then discussed his four very likely picks and two leans for the upcoming NFL Sunday and Monday. With stats, matchup analysis, schedule analysis, and market analysis, Adam gave out the info on why he likes the sides that he likes and gave pretty strong cases for all six of the games in the spotlight.

They hit on some notes and nuggets from across college football in the first 40 of the program, including game thoughts on Pitt vs. Georgia Tech, Nevada vs. San Jose State, Oklahoma vs. West Virginia, Oklahoma State vs. Baylor, and more.
On the college hoops side, we’re still trying to figure out what we have with a lot of these teams, but the guys talked about some early-season tempo changes that oddsmakers and bettors have not yet caught up with, a handful of different regression signs that you can play on or against, and then Friday’s Marquette vs. UCLA with a possible premium pick look-ahead from Kyle and also Saturday’s Florida vs. Florida State game.
