Episode 32: You win two you loose one Apr 25, 2006

Show notes

Jeff explains to Steven why tonight's loss was not that big a deal. Given how poorly the team hit tonight, it was a miracle that we scored any runs... let alone two. This Detroit team is not the same team that lost a record number of games just two seasons ago. This years Tigers team is a very respectable 13-8. And hey, the Angels are still in first place.

Episode 31: Salmon's very relevant HR Apr 24, 2006

Show notes

The boys in red return to the Big A and throw some ice-water on the hottest team in baseball. Tim Salmon seems intent on proving Jeff wrong that his home runs are not all irrelevant by hitting the game winning HR and creating the second run of the game. The Angels welcome the new guys fresh of the train from AAA and even though we got out hit tonight, we get the W and take over sole position of first place.

Episode 30: Ellis to Scioscia mind-meld Apr 23, 2006

Show notes

Join Jeff Ellis and Steven Miranda as they enjoy the fruits of victory. Jeff allows the win to go to his head as he guarantees a victory tomorrow. Finally a typical Angels victory: good starting pitching for six innings, then the best bullpen in baseball nails it down. Great game and a great show -- maybe the best show ever!
