Catch RHONY If You Can (with Tracie Morrissey) Jul 18, 2023

Show notes

The RHONY premiere has finally arrived: it's Turtle Time! Inspired by a strong first ep, Sarah runs to the cloff (Jenna Lyons, you are cordially invited) to mention it all with a Zoom kiki for the ages. And of course there was one person with whom she had to deep dive, her date for the RHONY premiere party and a fellow New Yorker dame, Tracie Morrissey (writer, producer, podcaster, and owner of PipeDreams.fun). They discuss the new energy on RHONY as a re-set for the franchise, the ways fighting about cheese and Catch are a true return to form for cast fighting, the introduction of alliances between Erin v. Brynn, Jessel's Jen Aydin energy, and the complicated dynamics surrounding Lizzie's exit. Tell the Regency there's a new crew in town (and they may prefer to go to Casa Cipriani instead) - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 433!

New Beginnings: Inside the RHONY Premiere Party Jul 15, 2023

Show notes

Chic c'est la vie? C'est bon, c'est bon! Sarah receives an invite to Bravo's RHONY premiere event at NYC's famed Rainbow Room. And of course, AGs need to friend-of! So post event (with a Lu-style vocal performance, natch) Sarah deep dives interactions with attendees, Andy, and the cast, the decision not to invite the original cast (and the guest she truly cannot process having attended), how to separate new NY from its not-so-distant past (and what Crappie Lake means for other HWs angling for a return to form), and why cast friendship bracelets and true intimacy may develop as so many have before - off camera. It's Turtle Time, unless Sarah takes an edible, in which case, maybe run out the clock - and it's Andy's Girls, Episode 432!

Welcome to Crappie Lake: It's Been Waiting for You (with Louis Peitzman) Jul 14, 2023

Show notes

Crappie, crappé: no matter how you say it, this show needs to be discussed. So Sarah mentions it all about LuAnn & Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake, alongside AG guest co-host, Louis Peitzman. They discuss the connective thread between RHONY past and present, Lu and Sonja's flirting Learning Annex (a true gift to the people), a refreshing change in the definition of Housewives stakes, and the ways that comparison to "The Simple Life" only tells half the story.

Orange County is Severance (with Louis Peitzman) Jul 11, 2023

Show notes

Excited for the New Beginning that is this weekend's RHONY premiere, Sarah turns the cloffice into a reboot prayer circle, perfect to process the myriad of feelings transitioning from OG to brand new. Inspired to deep dive this even more, she invites over writer and culture commentator Louis Peitzman. They join hands and discuss a Bravoholic's understanding of the Kübler-Ross model of the five stages of grief, the uncertain future of RHOA casting (and why Sarah lives in a town called Hope), and the ways Tamra Judge has created a world of upside down for the rest of her cast (blessed be). Heather's status with RHOBH is unknown, just like Sarah pronouncing "porte cochère" - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 431!

An Affair to Remember (with Evan Real) Jul 08, 2023

Show notes

After reading NJ's casting news on Page Six - the official friend-of on RHONY classic and likely NY new beginnings as well - Sarah realizes the best person to unpack all the latest breaking news (Teresa and Melissa will both return! The Atlanta mid season trailer is out! RHOC is back! And Kyle and Mauricio PS!) is the fabulous face of Page Six, Evan Real (senior tv reporter at Page Six, and co-host of Virtual Reali-tea). They deep dive like never before, unpacking if the Original Sin for Teresa about Melissa joining RHONJ could be potentially resolved, Evan's day with the cast of RHOC (including group side eye about Ryan), the ways betrayal and trauma may have impacted Gina's reaction to Jennifer's emotional affair (and upset around reactions from the rest of the cast), and the missing piece in weighing the impact of an emotional vs. physical affair. Take a pic of this episode because Sarah and Evan are here to BeReal - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 430!

Kyle and Mauricio's Independence Day (An AG Afterschool Special) Jul 04, 2023

Show notes

Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have officially separated after 27 years of marriage: know that. And Sarah has a few things to say, about Allison DuBois' season one prediction, on and off camera whispers about their marriage, and more. The news broke as Sarah was in the midst of recording, so this is truly a processing caught on mic. A historical document, as it were. And, oh yes, also on the episode: Sarah shares what July 4 means for her family (put on your emotional seatbelts, babes), and answers questions about the past, present, and future of Bravo and Housewives, and some personal queries too! This episode is truly a variety pack, and unlike the dinner party from hell, it *will* emotionally fulfill you - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 429!

IMDb (Yeah You Know Me) (with Bravo Bravo Ducking Bravo) Jul 01, 2023

Show notes

Inspired by Shan's latest foray into theatrical performance, Cirque du Surprise, if you will, Sarah scrambles to find that iconic 70s costume Shan once wore "streaking." Despondent after realizing the cloffice does not, in fact, operate as a Spirit Halloween, she puts on a different role - deep diving all things RHOC with one of her Bravoholic besties, content creator Bravo Bravo Ducking Bravo. They discuss what loyalty and trust looks like when filming reality TV, Emily's work to provide an environment of emotional security and stability to her children after a difficult childhood, the characteristics Shannon and Dorinda share (ahem), and another installment of AG Theatre, unpacking the different forms of role play between Heather and Taylor. This convo is like Tamra's mechanical bull: a ride that ends far too soon - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 428!

And Just Like That: I'm Sorry. I Can. Don't Hate Me. (with Samantha Bush) Jun 30, 2023

Show notes

When talking "And Just Like That," it feels like a miracle to laugh for an hour: and yet that's exactly what happened during this ep. Sarah is joined by past and future AG guest co-host, Samantha Bush (Betches content manager, multi-hyphenate podcaster, and creator of @BravoHistorian) for a deep dive of their origin connections to "Sex and the City," very differing opinions on the levels of toxic energy from Carrie's past paramours (and behind the scenes drama with Kim), the ways the reboot's energy has been re-set according to current cultural dynamics (most especially conversation), and whether it's possible to separate the legacy of the original show from its current New Beginnings era. Whether you're a Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, or Stanford, this convo has something for everyone. So sayeth the cloff, and the many mutual gasps.

Shein Bright Like a Diamond (A Deep Dive on RHOA and Rumors About Kyle and Mauricio) Jun 27, 2023

Show notes

Sarah watches the new ATL ep and is utterly transfixed by Kandi and Shereé's one on one. So, she takes to the cloff for a deep dive on the dynamics around Housewives branding - and self awareness - and the difficulty of trying to monetize a Housewives persona, what the OG luncheon next week means for any potential returns to form (if not the cast), Marlo's difficult ascendance to her full-time role, and WTF is going on with Kyle and Mauricio. Shereé's jogger and hoodie set may cost $400+, but this convo is priceless - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 427!

The Other Two: On the Hit Comedy Series, and Why Bethenny Got Carried Away (with Tom Smyth) Jun 25, 2023

Show notes

Sarah has discovered many things through her obsession with the fantastic HBO (ahem) comedy series "The Other Two." She's thrilled to be joined in this exploration by AG Classic's guest co-host, writer and Bravoholic Tom Smyth. They discuss the seamless transition many comedic actors have with dramatic work, the sublime experience that is watching Molly Shannon triumph, and the show's 30 Rock-esque pacing. Oh yes, and a top 3 most embarrassing moment Sarah shared during summer theatre with one of the show's leads. They also deep dive Bethenny Frankel's response to being the subject of a joke on another HBO (ahem) series, "And Just Like That." Someone got Carried Away.
