Food and family go hand-in-hand, and often have deep ties to our culture and heritage. Food is love in many families, but complicated patterns come to light when guilt, shame, and pressure to eat enter into the mix. Alex Aiono is joined by his cousin, actor Bubba Aiono, as well as University of Otago researcher Mauterangimarie Clark to explore the relationship of food to culture, and why our access to food (or lack thereof) can have a ripple effect on how (and why) we eat what we do.
