    The pilot discusses the issue with the tower, but neither of them seem to know whether the alert was legitimate or a false indication.

    A private pilot at Rocky Mountain Metro airport, radios the tower preparing to take off, but he doesn't sound quite right.

    The pilot is slurring his words and can't seem to remember the runway numbers at the airport.

    At the end of the recording, you will hear the controller ask the pilot to shut down the aircraft so authorities could ask him some questions.

    Once approached, the man was indeed arrested for being under the influence.

    ATOOC: Don't Forget the Towbar Feb 15, 2024

    In this episode, we go to Boise, Idaho (KBOI) where an Eclipse aircraft is coming in for a landing, when the tower notices sparks and smoke coming from the aircraft.

    Embarrassingly, The pilot forgot to remove the towbar on take off, resulting in a scary landing with emergency crews being dispatched.

    In this episode of Air Traffic Out Of Control, we go up to Crystal Minnesota airport (KMIC).

    In this recording, you will hear an embarrassed pilot tell the tower he used 'a little too much brake' and ended up wrecking the aircraft, leading to a closure of the airport.

    Emergency crews then spring into action to remove the aircraft from the tarmac.

    ATOOC: Bad Vibrations Feb 05, 2024

    In this episode, Lufthansa flight 423 (Airbus A340-300), departs from Boston bound for Frankfurt when the aircraft strikes a bird.

    The pilot radios the tower, requesting to level off to 10,000 feet to assess an issue.

    The engine is badly vibrating, so the pilot determines that a return to Boston is the best course of action.

    The aircraft circles back to the airport after dumping fuel.
