Ep. 466: Breaking into the Ski Industry with Powder7 Founders/Owners - Jordan and Amy Jones Jan 11, 2019
    Show notes

Skiing: Amy and Jordan Build Powder7 – Quitting Great Job for "Illegal" Apartment Startup, Outside Magazine Best Places to Work, Humor, Insights, Jordan Beats Lance Armstrong in Half-Ironman Race by an Inch.

Leaving a great job with good benefits to start a company that's technically illegal to operate out of your apartment is a big jump at best, completely irrational and foolish at worst. Today, Amy and Jordan wouldn't have it any other way with building Powder7, considered one of Outside Magazine's Best Places to Work.

This episode is filled with humor, insight, and adventure, like the time Jordan beat Lance Armstrong by an inch in a half-Ironman race. I hope you enjoy this conversation around life, business, and adventure sports!

Ep. 460: The Long Ranger Part 2 - Justin Simoni Dec 28, 2018
    Show notes

Running, Cycling, Mountaineering: Justin Simoni Bikes and Climbs Colorado's Highest 100 Peaks – Self-Powered Epic Doubling His 2014 14ers Achievement, Mind-Bending Mental Endurance and Pure Adventure Feats.

    Part 2

Justin Simoni is synonymous with "pure adventure." This guy's self-powered running, cycling, and climbing trips are mind-bending in difficulty and require unbelievable mental endurance. He's well known for riding a bike to and climbing all of Colorado's 14ers in one fell swoop back in 2014. However, a few years later, that wasn't enough. This led him to bike to and climb Colorado's highest 100 peaks, nearly doubling the mountains climbed in his 14ers achievement. I hope you enjoy our two-part conversation on adventures and how he makes them happen.

Ep. 457: Helping Others Find Careers in Adventure - Courtney Condy Dec 21, 2018
    Show notes

Mountaineering: Courtney Condy Survives 2015 Nepal Earthquake on Everest Base Camp Trek – Quits Corporate Job for Global Adventure Guiding, Launches Occupation Wild to Help Others Escape 9-to-5 for Dream Adventure Careers.

Courtney Condy graduated college in 2013 and jumped right into the corporate sector thinking she would have time later to travel and pursue her adventures. She was wrong.

After finding inspiration from a friend and none from her job, she finally booked an Everest Base Camp Trek in 2015. On that journey, she ended up almost dying in the April 25 Nepal earthquake. It was an adventure, to say the least. It changed her whole life to the point she opted out of her desk job and started working as an adventure travel guide all over the world.

Earlier this year after seeing a gap in the adventure career market she decided to break away from her job, once again, to launch her own company, Occupation Wild, where he hopes of helping others find their dream job and live a life beyond 9 to 5.
