As we take an extremely short break between Seasons Two and Three, we thought it might be nice to share the VERY FIRST Hawk! In November 2020, Jason Gore tweeted that if Joe Biden won Georgia, he would do record a classic rock radio shift like he was still working at 96rock in Atlanta - the last classic rock station he worked at. After some thought, he decided to do it as 108.9 The Hawk, a classic rock station he mentioned in one of his sketches in his one-man show, "Jason Gore's Midlife Crisis."
Jason asked Geoff if he wanted to be part of it and 108.9 The Hawk was born! Spotify had a new feature that allowed you to do breaks in-between full songs, so at first, this is what we thought The Hawk would be, but only Spotify subscribers would be able to listen. We did two episodes like this - this one and the first HAWKMAS episode with Alex Scordelis. Later on in 2021, Jason and Geoff decided they wanted to make the Hawk a weekly thing for everyone to hear and that's the moment THE TRUE MADNESS WAS BORN.We hope you enjoy this look back at the very first episode of The Hawk. 108.9 The Hawk Season Three begins next week. Get ready.

We're back with another CLASSIC HAWK and in this edition we revisit the time Nick Kocher and Brian McElhaney (BriTANick) visited The Whisp Turlington Show to preview their show at Dingbats and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Whisp and Geoff decide to dole out some comedy advice, despite BriTANick's success (SNL, It's Always Sunny).

25 episodes in Season One. 50 episodes in Season Two. LORD ONLY KNOWS HOW MANY WILL BE IN SEASON THREE but this SEASON TWO FINALE has everything you'd want from an improvised comedy podcast about classic rock radio finale! With so many questions to be answered?!
Come on. Seriously? TWO Jason Gore's? And who the hell is Kegstand?! Wait, you mean Channel 8's "Those Horny Royals" can be horny and sad at the same time? The Rolling Stones didn't initially go with the name "Angie?!"

Season Three will be here before you know it. (days)
