In this episode, we explore a different way forward that helps you move beyond old wounds and make space for fresh joy, hope, and possibility.

Do We Create The Distance To Our Happiness? Aug 07, 2025
    Show notes

When we resist the present moment because it doesn't match our expectations, we create distance from our happiness. We tell stories about how things should be or fear what the future might hold, and in doing so, we miss the value and possibility in what's actually here.

When we accept what is and remember that uncertainty is a space of unlimited potential, we become more present, open, and available. This not only helps us get the most out of the moment, it is also a powerful recipe for creating a better future.

    Affirmation:

I accept this moment as it is, and I trust that uncertainty holds the potential for something beautiful. I release the stories that create distance from my happiness and stay open to all that life has to offer.

Fix Ourselves or Be Ourselves? Jul 30, 2025
    Show notes

In today's episode of Ten Minutes to Less Suffering, I explore the difference between constantly trying to fix ourselves and learning to fully inhabit who we already are. When we stop searching for solutions outside ourselves and begin to listen inwardly, we return to a place of clarity, presence, and strength.

    Affirmation:

I don't chase wholeness. I remember it. Even in heartbreak, in silence, in longing—Wholeness was never gone.

I am not a problem to solve. I am not waiting to be rescued. Even when I ache, I am not less. Even when I stumble, I am not lost.

I begin here. As I am. Breathing. Listening. Living.

Healing is not becoming someone new. It is the soft, honest return to who I've always been.

I can spend my life trying to fix myself… Or I can finally choose to be myself. One is endless effort. The other is freedom. I want to be free.

Here I am. Not fixing. Just being. And Maybe that… is enough.

The Pain Of Uncertainty Isn't Proof That Anything Is Wrong Jul 25, 2025
    Show notes

Inspired by a talk from spiritual teacher Guy Finley, this episode explores the idea that "the pain of uncertainty is not proof that something is wrong." We often resist the unknown, assuming discomfort means danger or failure. But what if uncertainty isn't the problem—what if it's the path?

This episode invites you to shift your relationship with not knowing, release the false comfort of control, and discover the peace and possibility that live in presence. The unknown isn't the enemy—it might just be the beginning of something greater.

Emptiness Leads To Fullness Jul 11, 2025
    Show notes

To celebrate 300 episodes of Ten Minutes to Less Suffering, I'm revisiting one of the most meaningful episodes in the series.

Inspired by a passage from the Tao Te Ching, this episode explores how the empty spaces in our lives—moments of uncertainty, loss, or stillness—can become the starting point for growth, creativity, and true fulfillment.

We often rush to fill the void, but what if that emptiness is exactly where our next beginning lives? What if the unknown holds the very thing we've been waiting for?

Thank you for being part of this journey. Maybe the best is yet to come!

Are You In Your Softness Or Survival? Jul 03, 2025
    Show notes

This episode explores the powerful difference between living from softness and reacting from survival. While we may long for peaceful, supportive surroundings, life doesn't always cooperate. So how do we stay grounded and open when the world around us feels loud, rushed, or harsh?

Through reflection and practical tools, we'll look at how to generate calm, clarity, and love from within—regardless of our circumstances. Because softness isn't about weakness—it's about strength rooted in presence, gratitude, and trust. When we stop resisting life and start responding with awareness, we create space for more peace, possibility, and joy.
