Going Mental with Eileen Kelly

GOING MENTAL was born out of host Eileen Kelly’s desire to reckon with the shame she felt around her mental health journey. Despite early career success, internal struggles and a crippling personality disorder drove Eileen to leave her exciting New York City life behind and seek treatment at McLean — one of the oldest mental hospitals in the country. After five months and some serious self-discovery, she returned to the outside world looking for a way to disseminate what she’d learned in treatment and connect to others with similar experiences.

Each week, along with personal stories from Eileen, she interviews some of today’s most compelling media figures, artists, authors, and celebrities about their own mental health journeys, along with a range of experts who provide information and support around various mental conditions.

New episodes releasing every Thursday.

The Well Minded Podcast with Master Therapist Lynn Matti

I help people understand themselves better, make sense of their feelings, and learn from resentments and disappointments by using a heart-centered and holistic approach. We all want to live an authentic and fulfilling life…sometimes we just need a little help.
Two of our most basic needs are to be connected and to feel loved. Without these, we feel a lack of purpose and isolated. When we feel alone, disconnected and insecure, we’re filled with negative thoughts and feelings of guilt and shame. Left unattended and unvalidated, these feelings take root, growing into resentments and increasingly unhealthy behaviors. If we lack positive feelings about ourselves it’s difficult to trust, communicate and feel safe in the world.
I offer you a space to be listened to without judgment. A place of safety. And, when you are ready, a new perspective backed by a toolbox full of good techniques to uniquely help you reconnect with your inner world and improve your relationships. We tune into and check out your long held beliefs. We quiet those unkind unconscious messages and turn up your self confidence by identifying and supporting your strengths.

The Hormone Psychiatrist

Understand yourself a little deeper. Understand your body a little better. And get a whole lot clearer about what actually matters.

The Hormone Psychiatrist is where women’s mental health, hormones, and real life finally have the same conversation.

Dr. Stefani Reinold is a board-certified psychiatrist who believes women deserve better answers than “your labs are normal,” “it’s probably anxiety,” or another 27-step wellness protocol. Each week, she takes on the things women are actually wondering about—mood, anxiety, sleep, ADHD, energy, irritability, sex, periods, motherhood, perimenopause, hormone testing, medications, and the increasingly complicated business of trying to feel good in a world obsessed with optimizing everything.

Because sometimes it is hormones. Sometimes it’s mental health. Sometimes it’s sleep, stress, nutrition, relationships, medication, or simply the season of life you’re living. And very often, it’s several things interacting at once.

The goal isn’t to turn you into a perfectly optimized version of yourself. It’s to help you understand your brain and body well enough to know what matters, what doesn’t, and what deserves your attention next.

Expect smart science without the medical-school lecture, honest conversations about the things women don’t always say out loud, a healthy dose of skepticism about wellness culture, and practical next steps you can actually use in real life.

Understand yourself. Know what matters. Do less.

Welcome to The Hormone Psychiatrist.

Real science. Real life. No wellness homework.

My Wakeup Call with Dr. Mark Goulston

I’m Dr. Mark Goulston, and this is My Wakeup Call. Everybody has personal wakeup calls, but not everybody wakes up. In this podcast, we speak to people who did. In fact, they not only woke up, but their wakeup calls changed their lives, often helped them discover their purpose and then changed how they would spend the rest of their life. In most cases, the wakeup call was not pleasant, sought-after, and often shook people to the core of their being. But in every case, it made our guests more authentic, better at life, better in life and better human beings. I hope you will listen in and become as inspired as I am from every episode. I also hope it will help you persevere if you are going through a wakeup call and haven’t yet gotten through the pain of it, or landed in your future as the better person you’re meant to be, with the better life that you’re meant to have.
