For some people, summer of 1967 was the Summer of Love. But for many Americans, police brutality, the broken promise of desegregation, persistent racism, and economic disparity weighed them down. And in Detroit, it all came to a head. In this three episode mini-series, hosted by Courtney B. Vance, we find out what really happened on the streets of Detroit over one hot week -- and why.
