As an author, educator, and creator of The Experimental Leader program, Melanie shows people new ways of thinking about their leadership, informed by her understanding of the fast-paced ride of technology innovation.

A professor in the Department of Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour, and Canada Research Chair in Social Perception. Strategic Succession: Bridging Governance and Legacy

When wealth includes family businesses, complex real estate, or meaningful collections, traditional estate planning often is not enough. The real challenges are strategy, coordination, governance, and execution across advisors and generations. Strategic Succession: Bridging Governance and Legacy is an AI-hosted podcast built on the written work, experience, and strategic thinking of Matthew F. Erskine, a fourth-generation trusts and estates attorney. The episodes focus on the strategic layer of succession planning and the design work that must happen before legal documents are drafted and implemented. Each episode explores why technically sound estate plans still fail families, how complexity creates paralysis, and how advisors can align governance, ownership, and long-term continuity. Topics include family business succession, wealth governance, preserving control, multigenerational planning, and helping advisors add strategic value without overstepping scope. Designed to feel like a private advisory briefing, this podcast is for families with complex assets and the professionals who serve them when legal planning alone is not enough. This podcast features AI-generated content created using original material, ideas, and guidance provided by the show’s owner, Matthew F. Erskine of The Erskine Company LLC. Episodes are produced using artificial intelligence with human oversight and editorial direction. Read More

Thinking Boldly!

Divorce doesn't end families -- it restructures them. Welcome to <em style="background-color: transparent">Thinking Boldly, where we challenge everything you thought you knew about divorce, family law, and the future of the family after divorce.

Hosted by the Consilium® Institute founders attorney Heidi Webb and (ret.) Judge Julie Field, this podcast brings together family law attorneys, judges, therapists, financial advisors, and clients who have experienced the transformative power of the Consilium Process firsthand. Consilium is an antidote to the adversarial, emotionally devastating, and financially draining traditional divorce system. The Thinking Boldly podcast explores this better way forward.

The Consilium Process represents a revolutionary approach to family restructuring that integrates legal, financial, and psychological support into one collaborative framework. Instead of viewing divorce as destruction, we see it as an opportunity for growth, healing, and the creation of healthier family systems that endure beyond the courtroom.

Each episode explores the innovative methods that are helping families across the nation move from dissolution to evolution. We dig deep into:

• The Consilium Process: How a multidisciplinary paradigm creates better outcomes than traditional litigation

• Family Restructuring: Practical strategies for co-parenting, communication, and maintaining family bonds through transition

• The Emotional Journey: Understanding and navigating the psychological challenges of divorce with compassion and clarity

• Financial Planning: Creating sustainable financial futures that align with legal and emotional realities

• Legal Innovation: How attorneys are thriving by adopting integrative, client-centered approaches

• Personal Growth: Using divorce as a catalyst for transformation rather than trauma

Whether you're a family law attorney seeking better tools to serve your clients, a mental health therapist or financial professional guiding families experiencing divorce, a judge looking for more effective approaches, or an individual navigating family transition, Thinking Boldly delivers the insights and inspiration you need.

Our founders bring unparalleled expertise: Heidi Webb created the Consilium Process through her dual background in family law and psychology, while Judge Julie Field has spent her career on the bench serving families navigating the court system. Together, they've built a national network of Consilium Practitioners who are transforming how families restructure for better futures.

We believe that with the right support, legal guidance, financial planning, and emotional tools, families can emerge from divorce stronger, healthier, and more optimistic about the future. Logic can prevail even during times of high emotion. Children can thrive. Co-parents can align on child-rearing. And everyone involved can move forward with dignity.

Join us for candid conversations that challenge conventional wisdom, share real client success stories, and provide actionable strategies you can implement immediately.  Families deserve better than what the current broken divorce system offers -- and families thriving after divorce prove our methods work.

Subscribe to Thinking Boldly and discover how family restructuring can be a path to personal evolution.

Extraordinary America

America has always been about freedom, opportunity, and the pursuit of happiness. However, most Americans are not free when it comes to the financial front. Most are under financial slavery due to losing their jobs, having stagnant wages due to outsourcing, inflation due to money printing, and debt of all kinds. Wealth and income inequality runs rampant across America while the middle class has all but disappeared! Where there is no freedom, there can never be opportunity nor happiness. Such a disconnect between who we are as Americans and our Financial reality cannot be allowed to continue.

Therefore, Extraordinary America is about the abolition of financial slavery. It is about the financial freedom of the 99%. It is about Americans awakening and unleashing the Extraordinary within themselves and setting themselves free!

The truth is Americans are Extraordinary. As immigrants and descendants of immigrants, they have overcome insurmountable obstacles and barriers with their pioneering and entrepreneurial spirit, and this time is no different. Americans should never give up or surrender to hopelessness and despair, no matter how bad the situation is, no matter how much the odds are stacked against them. Just as spring overcomes winter, Day overcomes Night, the light within us shall overcome the darkness around us. Its time for us to know that we are our own saviors, that there is an Extraordinary within us waiting to be unleashed, that freedom is our birthright and that we shall realize the American Dream!

The path to financial freedom is by educating and transforming ourselves into Entrepreneurs and Investors on the light side! In this podcast Cosmos Dar interviews Entrepreneurs and Investors who fought against the odds, and in many cases came from humble beginnings to attain financial freedom, to see how they did it. He hopes through all these stories that the Extraordinary within the audience shall awaken, that they shall take the actions necessary to abolish financial slavery from their lives and finally Realize the American dream!

Allyship in Action

I left Corporate America because the workplace culture sucked. That realization was my personal pivot point, and it's the entire driving force behind my podcast, Allyship in Action. Inclusive workplace culture doesn't happen by accident. It is built through intentional, consistent choices. In every episode of Allyship in Action, my goal is simple. My goal is to cut through the noise, skip the performative shiny stuff, and deliver real, practical tools that turn good intentions into sustainable workplace culture change. Here is the core summary of what Allyship in Action is all about, and how all leaders can be better allies. From Performative Statements to Everyday Practice We've all seen standard corporate declarations like posting a statement on social media or making a grand pledge. While public support isn't inherently bad, true allyship begins when the cameras are off. Allyship isn't a badge you wear or a title you give yourself. Allyship is a verb. It requires continuous learning, unlearning, and showing up even when things get messy or uncomfortable. In our conversations with workplace culture experts, we repeatedly unpack how real allies move from passive empathy to proactive intervention. That means noticing who gets interrupted in meetings, recognizing whose ideas are credited, and ensuring that opportunities are distributed equitably across the entire team. Rewiring Workplace Culture for True Inclusion A healthy workplace culture isn't created by ping-pong tables or free snacks. Inclusive workplace cultures are built on psychological safety, fairness, and trust. For genuine inclusion to take root, organizations must audit the subtle systems that drive daily behavior. How are your meetings structured? How are performance reviews conducted? Who holds the informal power, and how is feedback delivered? On the podcast, we showcase practical tactics—like rotating an Inclusion Booster role during weekly staff meetings to monitor airtime and ensure introverted or underrepresented voices are heard. When you design everyday workflows with inclusion in mind, you stop relying on heroic individual acts and start embedding equity into the DNA of your organization. Protecting the Pipeline and How Inclusion Drives Talent Retention There is both a deep human case and a rock-solid business case for DEI. In today's shifting marketplace, talent retention is one of the single biggest operational challenges leaders face. High performers, especially women, racially diverse team members, neurodivergent colleagues, and Gen Z workers, simply will not stay where they have to mask their true selves or fight uphill against systemic microaggressions. When employees feel seen, heard, and valued for their unique lived experiences, engagement skyrockets, innovation thrives, and turnover drops. Protecting your talent pipeline isn't about complex retention gimmicks; it's about fostering an environment where people know, without a shadow of a doubt, that they belong. Engaging People with Power One of our biggest research insights is that inclusion work stalls when it remains isolated in ERGs or HR departments. Without people in positions of power actively engaged as allies, systemic progress hits a ceiling. Powerful leaders often stay on the sidelines out of a fear of making a mistake or saying the wrong thing. Allyship in Action serves as a compassionate, pushback-proof invitation for leaders to step up. Allyship isn't about having all the answers or acting like a superhero. It's about having the humility to say, "I don't know, but I'm here to listen, learn, and leverage my influence to help." Allyship is a Continuous Journey Allyship is progress over perfection. It's a practice. We are all works in progress. If we want better workplaces, we have to stay curious, challenge our own blind spots, and commit to taking small, consistent micro-actions every single day. When we do allyship well, we don't just change our teams, we also redefine what it means to lead for all. Read More
