Michelle Reines | From Bad to Badass Leader Oct 12, 2021
    Show notes

Michelle is a speaker, author, coach, entrepreneur, and an ever-evolving Badass Leader. The people-part can be the most challenging for many leaders. It certainly was for her. Her wake-up call came in the form of a cataclysmic leadership failure. She very quickly learned to appreciate the profound impact an unconscious leader has on people, teams, and organizational health and performance.

The significance and value of a team became abundantly clear, as did the critical importance and necessity for her to immediately begin evolving as a leader. This painfully humbling experience (which she affectionately refers to as #TheSuck) set the course correction for what would become a lifelong hunger for leadership growth and contribution - a self prescribed reparation in many ways, shared through her 12 Leadership Lessons.

Early in her leadership journey, she was an absolute ASS as a boss, oblivious to the impact she was having on people! Perhaps, like many of you, she didn't understand how to lead. Michelle looks forward to sharing her thrills of victory & agonies of defeat, with a goal of helping you unlock the art of leading like a Badass!

Ever find yourself in a position where you dread your weekly call with that one particular client? I'm pretty confident we've all experienced that at one point in our consulting careers. This week's guest has developed a framework that will allow us to work with these clients in a productive manner, or if the situation requires it, even fire those clients.

Even during her successful 17-year career in corporate America, winning awards, directing training and development on a national level… Alicia still had side businesses. Not because she needed them, but because she WANTED them, and eventually she broke free from the golden handcuffs of a regular six-figure income and started her own consultancy company and she hasn't looked back since.

Brilliant SMB and the moniker she's been given "The Profit Queen(TM)" represents her calling and her passion - to empower SMB Founders to build sustainable dreams, engage in their God-given purpose and make a difference in the world for good.

Incorporating neuroscience, research, and data into her consulting, Alicia has the most fascinating clients all over the world. Clients as diverse as Disney's Leadership Institute, a Pilates instructor who studied with Joseph Pilates, CPAs, a 4-time world champion NBA star, an international tech company that IPO'ed for 2.1 billion and hundreds more. Tom Gaddis | What's the Secret? Aug 31, 2021
    Show notes

"I didn't want discipline. I wanted to be an entrepreneur, so I could do what I want, when I wanted. This may be the biggest secret of entrepreneurship...it turns out, that's not how it works!"

Tom Gaddis currently lives in Kihei, Hawaii with his wife Miranda, two daughters Paige & Sophia, and their grumpy dog Patches.

In 2020 Tom's wife took a picture of him sitting in front of the restaurant where he was fired from in 2010. At the time, he thought it was the worst thing that could happen and he had no idea how his family would survive.

It's taken a lot of trusting the process, hard work, and never giving up to make his life what is today. But, the amazing journey has been so worth it!
