I wish I had come up with “Smart Beer”. That’s such a funny idea. But some business dick beat me to it. I wonder if I’m losing my fastball. Oh, no, I guess I’m not, because my copy of All The Pain That Money Can Buy is right here on my CD shelf! I’d like to see some Wharton stiff come up with that. But they could never. They probably don’t even know that Fastball frontman Tony Scalzo came up with the idea for the song after reading articles that described the June 1997 disappearance of an elderly married couple, Lela and Raymond Howard from Salado, Texas,[6] who left home to attend the Pioneer Day festival at nearby Temple, Texas, despite Lela's Alzheimer's disease and Raymond recently recovering from brain surgery. But I’m smart so I did.

Now I’m just a simple country iced tea drinker, but it seems to me that if you want to drink iced tea, there are some crucial components to such a refreshing beverage. Oh actually nevermind that I’d rather talk about the soul food place I went to this week where a real bumpkin looking customer was asked “Are you a tea drinker?” and he got a free sample of the sweet tea. After hemming and hawing over the availability of sweet ‘n’ low, he relented and the two men began talking about going to the chiropractor to fix their backs. The customer said he went once a week! He was wearing compression socks! That’s a no bueno situation, indeed. But enjoy the tea, my friend. It was made in a volcano.
