Show notes

Matt Harmon and Dalton Del Don get together and come up with one stat for all 32 NFL teams that will help you understand their fantasy value.

Find out just how good Justin Fields has been (hint: nobody has been close to him in terms of fantasy output lately), why you shouldn’t panic about Christian McCaffrey’s usage, why CeeDee Lamb playing in the slot is a good thing, what Amari Cooper’s home/road splits mean (for him and Donovan Peoples-Jones) and more.

The guys finish the episode with a preview of the Sunday night game between the Tennessee Titans and the Green Bay Packers, which leads to a debate over rookie WRs Christian Watson and Treylon Burks.

Matt Harmon and Andy Behrens get together on Monday to break down the news of the day following week 10 in the NFL, recap the Sunday night football game between the Los Angeles Chargers and San Francisco Giants, and go over some recommended pickups from your fantasy football waiver wire.

Find out who will replace Cooper Kupp in the Rams’ offense and why it doesn’t matter, why Leonard Fournette’s passport had nothing to do with Rachaad White getting the start for the Buccaneers, and why Matt was harassed by D.J. Moore haters at his sister’s baby shower.

After complaining about CMC managers that are worried about his volume, Matt and Andy talk about the rise to the top of the Kansas City Chiefs depth chart for rookie Isiah Pacheco and what it means for Clyde Edwards-Helaire (it’s not great!).

The guys also talk about what to do with Christian Watson’s massive game for the Green Bay Packers against the Dallas Cowboys, and make a comparison to a former Steelers WR. The news of Eno Benjamin’s surprise release and Zach Ertz’ season-ending injury both happened during the podcast, so there are also live reactions to both.

Show notes

Matt Harmon is joined by Andy Behrens and Charles McDonald to preview all of the week 10 NFL games for the upcoming weekend with a strong focus on fantasy football.

Find out why Geno Smith is already better than Ryan Fitzpatrick, who the one reliable fantasy player is on the Broncos, why we’re so confused about the Dolphins backfield and if the Jaylen Warren buzz is going to amount to anything.

Also, the guys discuss Justin Fields’ meteoric rise, a possible Case Keenum revenge game and Saquon Barkley’s perfect setup for this weekend. There is plenty of talk around Patrick Mahomes’ quiet MVP candidacy, the Colts’ new play caller, what to do about the Packers and the difference between the Cardinals and Rams.

Finally, the guys preview the Chargers/49ers game on Sunday night and wonder if Taylor Heinicke and the Commanders will survive the Philadelphia Eagles defense on Monday night football.

Ekeler’s Edge: Chargers/Falcons recap, top RBs in fantasy & rushing QBs Nov 09, 2022

Show notes

Matt Harmon and Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler are back for another episode of Ekeler’s Edge, and this one goes all over the place.

The guys start the podcast by talking about the Chargers’ win over the Atlanta Falcons, which was very nearly a loss after a late fumble by Ekeler, and how impressed Austin was by Falcons RB Cordarrelle Patterson.

With the news that the Colts have fired head coach Frank Reich and replaced him with Jeff Saturday, who wasn’t even on the team’s coaching staff, Austin takes a time to respond and talk about how he would feel if he were in the Colts locker room.

Austin and Matt then go through the list of the top 12 running backs in fantasy football this year, and discuss the wave of young RBs that seem poised to take over the league, before opening up the Ask Austin mailbag and talking about the home crowds at Chargers games, the challenge of defending a rushing QB and much more.

Show notes

Matt Harmon and Andy Behrens start the show with the news of the Indianapolis Colts firing head coach Frank Reich and replacing him with ESPN analyst Jeff Saturday, which is one of the weirder stories from the NFL season.

After getting through that and the rest of the news, the guys recap a brilliant performance by Patrick Mahomes to squeak out an overtime win over the Tennessee Titans (who offer no fantasy value beyond Derrick Henry).

Andy offers his picks for the best waiver wire adds this week before both guys weigh in on drops and discuss if it’s time to add Deshaun Watson and Odell Beckham Jr. to your fantasy football roster.

Finally, we get a wild update from the Treviso Babes league and a report from Lesli on why she dropped DK Metcalf.

Week 9 Recap: Mixon’s big day, Tua vs. Fields & the Packers are done Nov 07, 2022

Show notes

Matt Harmon and Scott Pianowski kick off the Sunday night fantasy recap by talking about the high-scoring game between the Miami Dolphins and Chicago Bears that gave hope to the future of the QB position in Justin Fields and Too Tagovailoa.

The guys spend time talking about all of the games, but they do spend some extra time talking about the Green Bay Packers (and Aaron Rodgers) being “done” for fantasy relevance going forward and looking back at some of the (now foolish) preseason predictions they made about the Raiders’ offense.

Later, the guys debate if they’d rather have Garrett Wilson or Chris Olave in a keeper leave and wonder what happened to Gabe Davis this season. They also spend time celebrating the huge 5 TD game from Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon, and discuss if it’s time to trade Mixon off your fantasy roster or not.

The guys finish with the afternoon games, with Scott floating a theory that Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay wanted to walk way from football after last season and probably should’ve.
