How to build a personal brand that actually opens doors with Grace Andrews | Future Self Series Ep. 6 Oct 12, 2026
    Show notes

We're half way through!! This week's episode of the Future Self Series is all about building your personal brand. And before you say "but I don't have one," you do.

Every result that pops up when someone googles your name, every conversation you have, everything you do publicly is already shaping how people see you. The real question is whether you're in control of it, or just looking into the void and hoping for the best.

It's something I've thought about a lot recently, so to break down what an actual personal brand strategy looks like, I've brought in Grace Andrews (yes, the other Grace), who was a founding member of the team that took The Diary of a CEO from 8,000 YouTube subscribers to over nine million. She's now building her own thing from scratch and documenting every step, which is basically reverse engineering her dream life in real time.

    I really hope you enjoy!

Give me 20 minutes to make you dangerously mentally strong (so you can achieve your goals) with Maya Raichoora | Future Self Series Ep.5 Oct 05, 2026
    Show notes

So episode 5 of the Future Self Series is all about mental fitness. We’re all very used to the idea of keeping our bodies physically fit, but realistically, when was the last time you actively trained your brain in the same way? (I had a Nintendo brain training game as a child, but I fear that may have been the beginning and end of my efforts). I’ve always loved Maya’s approach to mental fitness as something we can actually work on and train, rather than just talking about our mental health as something we all have. So this episode is basically a free session with a renowned brain coach on your self-talk, emotions and self-image, finishing with the exact visualisation Maya does herself to train her brain for the person she wants to become.

    Show notes

We've reached Episode 4 of the Future Self Series and Dr Faye Bate is taking over the mic!!

I wanted this episode to be specifically designed for ambitious women, and Faye has absolutely delivered. She gets into eating enough to fuel everything you’re doing, understanding your hormones, why you can be exhausted all day and then wide awake in bed, and how to deregulate your nervous system on your busiest days. All with the research to back it up, because you know we like our sources over here.

How to make big, life changing decisions that will decide your future with Jemma Sbeg | Future Self Series Ep.2 Sep 14, 2026
    Show notes

Welcome back to episode 2 of the Future Self series! Missed episode 1? Go back and start there (that's where we break down what this whole series is about)

Today we're zooming in on the decades that, looking at our data, most of you are in right now: your twenties and thirties. I think your twenties are the most formative decade of your life, and the choices you make now compound harder than they ever will again. So this episode is all about how to learn to take risks without sabotaging your future.

I'm handing the mic to Jemma Sbeg, creator of The Psychology of Your 20s, one of the biggest psychology podcasts in the world. She brings the same research-obsessed energy she's known for (some of her episodes take 10+ hours to write), so you're in great hands.

Jemma's also put together a follow-up exercise and her personal recommendations in this week's Working Hard newsletter, so you can actually do something with what you hear today.

Reverse engineering 101: the mindset shift that will change your entire future with Roxie Nafousi | Future Self Series Ep.1 Sep 07, 2026
    Show notes

If you've been here a while, you might have noticed something’s a little different about this episode, and that’s because this is the first episode of our brand new series, the Future Self Series!!

So this episode is the first of a twelve-part series - one that’s completely free, and designed to help you reverse engineer the life you want whilst I'm on my mat leave.

While I’m gone, I’ll be passing the mic to some incredible experts who’ll take you through episodes we’ve worked really hard to build together. These are people I love, who've genuinely shaped how I think about mindset, identity, money, health, relationships, social media. They’re at the top in their fields, and I’ve hand-picked every single one of them (because I don’t share this mic with just anyone).

I’ve invited them all to the office to break down their own versions of formulas that they’ve used to design specific parts of their own lives.

And of course if you know me, you’ll know there has to be a structure to all this.

So this first episode is the start of part 1 - the first of 3 parts:

    - Part 1 will help you figure out WHAT your plan actually looks like

    - Part 2 will look at how you can execute it

    - Part 3, looks at how you can perfect the systems around you to help your plan run as smoothly as possible

So for this first episode, there is genuinely no one I would rather open this entire series with than Roxie Nafousi.

If you’ve been living under a rock, Roxie is the author of Manifest, a Sunday Times Bestseller, which became an absolute phenomenon and has sold over 1 million copies in 37 languages.

If part of you doesn't quite believe your ideal life is possible right now, I promise you'll leave this episode feeling motivated, convinced, and genuinely deserving of every bit of it.

Why our frictionless lives are making us miserable and how to stop it Aug 31, 2026
    Show notes

We've spent the last decade optimising everything: next-day delivery, one-tap payments, infinite scroll, food at the door in 20 minutes. And yet somehow, most of us feel more scattered, less satisfied, and less capable than ever. I read an article about 'friction-maxxing' in The Cut, and wanted to explore why?

The lies we all tell ourselves about our careers with Jemma Sbeg (LIVE) Aug 24, 2026
    Show notes

Our first ever live podcast happened this summer, so I thought I'd share it with you! Thanks so much to Jemma Sbeg for joining me and 22 Bishopsgate for hosting us.

If you haven't heard of Jemma Sbeg, she is the host of The Psychology of Your 20s, one of the most listened-to podcasts in the world. It recently ranked in the global top 20, and was launched on Netflix last year. But what makes Jemma even more interesting is the story of how she got there: she started the podcast as a side project whilst working an 80-plus hour week in a corporate job. She built it episode by episode, using her background in psychology to break down the things that make ambitious people feel stuck, anxious, and like they're falling behind.

I really hope you love our chat! And if you want to come to a live pod in the future, let me know!

The 5 systems that changed my productivity & my life forever Aug 17, 2026
    Show notes

Today I thought we could go through the five systems that have had the biggest impact on both my productivity and my happiness.

And I want to say both of those things deliberately, because I think we talk about productivity like it's separate from how we feel. In my experience, it really isn't. When the systems are right, you feel better. And the whole reason I like productivity is that it leaves more space for not working, and the fun bits!!
