1: A Christmas Carol - Abridged AudioBook Dec 22, 2017

Show notes

“Bah! Humbug!”

Enjoy a new abridged audiobook adaptation of Charles Dickens' most famous novella, A Christmas Carol.

Christmas Eve. As everyone prepares for the start of the festive holidays with joy and excitement, one man is ready to greet it with bitterness and scorn. A man with more cruelty, callousness and coldness in his heart than any other creature who walks the earth. His name? Ebenezer Scrooge.

But tonight, this lost, dark soul will receive a ghostly figure from beyond the grave, warning Ebenezer that his bitter nature must now face the true spirit of Christmas, or forever be damned...

A story of goodwill and humanity, this timeless tale returns to remind us of that much needed spirit of kindness and compassion, and that, even in our darkest days, we can all rediscover the light.

Read by Jenny Runacre, directed and produced by Jack Bowman.
