What THEY do in the shadows - Vampires Oct 23, 2024

Show notes

On this episode of Wife of Crime I'm sticking with the Halloween theme and we are falling down the rabbit hole about Vampires! Folklore and legends are so fun to explore especially during this spooky time BUT what happens when folklore is taken way too seriously? I have 3 cases that get progressively worse, showing how beliefs in Vampires and the legends surrounding them can lead to evil rumors, weird rituals and even murder! Moral of the story... "if someone tells you they're a Vampire, just punch them in the face" - Russ

Operation Finale - Adolf Eichmann Aug 21, 2024

Show notes

On this episode of Wife of Crime I'm telling Russ the inspiring story of the special agents tasked with taking down one of the most evil men who ever lived, Adolf Eichmann, the architect of the Holocaust. Everyone can agree that there isn't anything much worse than a Nazi. The Nazi's did unspeakable things and at the end of WW2 around 5000 of them fled Germany and got away with it. BUT I'm interested in the heros of this horrific story... the men and women who made it their life's mission after the Holocaust to hunt these people down. This is just one of their stories.

Moral of this story...“Action is the only remedy to indifference: the most insidious danger of all"

Show notes

On this week's episode I'm telling Russ the case of Susan and Jeff Wright. "I'll just lie..." - The Murder of Stephanie Crowe Jun 05, 2024

Show notes

On this episode of WOC I'm telling Russ the type of case I've been avoiding for a long time. See, I know how Russ thinks and I know when it comes to false confessions he is extremely close minded and quick to judge. I went into this conversation knowing that his opinion will probably annoy me but also hopeful that he might actually learn something, and to my surprise I think he actually, kind of did :) Moral of this story... "if cops try to question you for a crime you didn't commit tell them SMD I need a lawyer!" - Russ and the entire Bronx
