Sleep with one eye open folks! - Christopher Porco Apr 01, 2021

Show notes

In this week's episode, I'm telling Russ about the tragic murder and attempted murder of Peter and Joan Porco. This crime was committed by the couples own son! How do you know when you have kids that you're going to raise a good one? ...It truly is a gamble. Is it nature or nurture? this story will show sometimes no matter how great of a parent you are, a person's evil nature still comes out. Chris Porco maintains his innocence to this day but I'm not buying it and neither did the jury at his trial. Moral of this story... "A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in this world" -Agatha Christie

#Justice4KJ-The mysterious death of Kendrick Johnson Mar 17, 2021

Show notes

On this week's episode I tell Russ the tragic and mysterious case of Kendrick Johnson. I decided to tell him this case now because the true crime community found out last week that Kendrick's case is being reopened. This case has baffled and frustrated me for years, for soooo many reasons. I was excited to tell Russ this one because he doesn't know anything about it and I wanted to hear his off the cuff reaction to the details. I really enjoyed discussing this one because hearing him react to this case made me feel like I was hearing this case for the first time. I truly hope this year there is finally justice for Kendrick Johnson. Moral of this story... things aren't always what they seem.

Don't Talk, Just Listen- The Weepy Voice Killer Mar 03, 2021

Show notes

On this week's episode, I tell Russ the case of Paul Stephani a.k.a The Weepy Voice Killer. I'm always surprised at how little attention this serial killer got compared to the other ones. He was brutal. He was also supposedly remorseful for his crimes and claimed he really wanted to be stopped. Listen to hear how Russ reacts to this one... I'm sure if you've been Wife of Crime Family for a while you already know Russ is not the one to give sympathy... especially to a level 10 POS serial killer.

"All this for a 5?"- Cari Farver Feb 03, 2021

Show notes

On this week's episode I tell Russ the twisted case of Cari Farver. On a previous episode Russ said something super annoying. He said, "men can't be stalked." Like I said... super annoying... so this week I'm telling him the story of a man who was in fact stalked! this case is so nuts on so many levels! They say " hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" well in this case you will see just how far a scorned woman will go. Moral of this story....use this case as a cautionary tale when online dating... be ready to fight if you're gonna swipe right :)

Science Didn't Exist!!- Jack the Ripper Jan 20, 2021

On this week's episode I tell Russ the case of one of the most infamous serial killer's in the world, Jack the Ripper. While this case is wildly famous it has yet to be solved and is still stumping web sleuths to this very day! Jack was one of the first of many serial killers, the only difference is he lived in a time with no technology which made the investigation nearly impossible. Moral of this story... Ya'll need science!

"You're a Rat!"-Donnie Brasco Jan 06, 2021

Show notes

On this week's episode I tell Russ the story of the most successful FBI undercover mission in US history... Operation Sun-Apple a.k.a the story of Donnie Brasco! This is such an interesting case because one man went deeper into the Italian mafia than anyone had ever been. It was first time that law enforcement could see and understand the inner workings of the Cosa Nostra. This mission led to the arrest of 230 mafia members and associates and single handily dismantled the Bananno crime family in the early 80's. Russ and I both had mixed feelings about this one. I'm interested to see how you guys feel about how this all went down.

Moral of this story... "When they send for you you go in alive, and come out dead, and it's your friend that does it." - Al Pacino as "Lefty Ruggiero"
