Moral of this story... if you see something, say something because if your instincts tell you something is super sus ... you're probably right!

Blade Runner - Oscar Pistorius Nov 24, 2021

Show notes

On this week's episode I tell Russ about the murder of Reeva Steenkamp. Reeva was murdered by world famous Olympian Oscar Pistorius. This was a sensational case out of South Africa and was reported on all over the world. Was this a case of cold blood murder or a terrible mistake?? Oscar was a disabled olympic gold medalist who was truly inspirational until this happened. Moral of the story... If you're claiming self defense, you gotta make sure your story ads up. In my opinion something just ain't right about this one.

"I believe I can fly!"- Arne Cheyenne Johnson a.k.a The Devil Oct 27, 2021

Show notes

On this week's episode I tell Russ about the case of Arne Johnson. This case is also well known as "The devil made me do it" case. Arne was an all around nice guy who committed a horrible crime. To police the case was open and shut, but according to Arne, his girlfriend Debbie and Ed and Lorraine Warren, Arne was innocent because the devil made him do it. As most of you know, Russ doesn't believe in anything supernatural especially angels and demons, so I already knew what I was getting myself into with this one! Moral of the story.... A couple that fights the devil together stays together! Happy Halloween!!

Spinning and Winning - Lizzie Borden Oct 13, 2021

Show notes

On this week's episode I tell Russ about the infamous case of Lizzie Borden. This case is super popular around this time of year. It's a classic " who done it" type of case...a little bit of American folklore. But did Lizzie Borden actually kill her parents? Or could it have been someone else? I tell Russ everything I know about the Borden case (because of course he has no idea who she is) and I wanted to see what he thinks. Moral of this story... "As long as greed is stronger than compassion, there will always be suffering"

Show notes

On this week's episode I tell Russ about the brutal murder of Faith Hedgepeth. Faith was a 19 year old UNC Chapel Hill student who was brutally murdered in her apartment in 2012. There are a ton of details and twists and turns that just don't make a lot of sense. This case has been unsolved for the last 9 years but just last week there was an arrest made so I really wanted to tell Russ about this one! Moral of this story... "Don't trust everything you see, because even salt looks like sugar."
