    Romain Grosjean on miraculous comeback, transition from F1 to IndyCar Mar 14, 2021

    Charlie connects with racing star Romain Grosjean who owns one of the best comeback stories of 2021. Grosjean, a veteran of the top racing series in the world, Formula One, is heading to the United States this spring to race on the IndyCar circuit for the first time. The 34-year-old's final race of the 2020 F1 season ended in a horrifying, fiery crash at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Pinned inside the cockpit and engulfed in flames, Grosjean miraculously escaped the scene. Despite severe burns to his hands, Grosjean made a fully recovery and is set to return to racing with IndyCar's season opener next month at Baber. On this episode, Grosjean shares with Charlie how the terrifying crash has changed his life, in addition to his first impressions of the IndyCar world.

    Charlie and Colts running back Nyheim Hines discuss this week's major NFL news: The retirement of quarterback Philip Rivers. Hines shares stories from Rivers lone season in Indianapolis, including the hilarious behind the scenes moments that the 2020 Colts roster will share for years to come. As a youngster Hines, a Garner, NC native, watched Philip Rivers lead the North Carolina State Wolfpack and morph into a legend in the Raleigh area. Ironically, Hines later starred at running back for NC State and finished Rivers' final NFL season as his leading pass catcher, in terms of receptions, in Indy.     Indiana Pacers Forward Kelan Martin Dec 15, 2020

    Former Butler Bulldogs star and current Indiana Pacers small forward Kelan Martin joins Charlie to discuss his return to Indiana following a whirlwind professional basketball journey over the past two seasons. Martin, Butler University's second all-time leading scorer, departed campus and traveled 4,400 miles from home in order to keep his NBA dream alive. This past season, he earned a spot on the Minnesota Timberwolves bench, later being reunited with childhood friend and fellow Louisville, Kentucky native D'Angelo Russell. Together, along with Timberwolves star Center Karl-Anthony Towns, the trio spent the beginning of the 2020 NBA shutdown living and working out together. We'll discuss those stories, along with Martin's unique connection with Pacers rookie Head Coach Nate Bjorkgren.
