Show notes

Here's a sample of a Patreon Exclusive Bonus Show we're calling Collide-a-Scope. This will be the space where we examine various ways in which fantasy and the real world collide!

This week Joshua brings you a conversation with Deanna and Torsten about how D&D and other table top role playing games can have therapeutic benefits, both formally and informally.

Here are the sources we mention in the episode:

A Tragic Backstory We Don’t Have Time For (Episode 4) Jan 25, 2023

Show notes

Crit is starting to go down in the Storm Crest Mountains. Jasoo, Jo, and Titan pick themselves up, reckon with what just happened, and reconnect with Yama. They continue investigating what's going on up in this mountain valley, and approach Tempest Top. When they get there, you might be care'n about what they do.

In Dirty Crit, we get into some nuanced conversations about what it means to ask for a manager, and whether or not you need to drink that cocktail you really don't love.

And even though this was recorded back in the early fall, stay tuned because we hop on at the end to thank our Founding Patreon Members.

If you'd like to join them, you can!

Have You Heard of the Light of the Sun? (Episode 3) Jan 11, 2023

Show notes

Jo, Jasoo, and Titan continue their foray into the forest, encountering some of its inhabitants. They get some rest in an unlikely spot, and enjoy acorn coffee, despite its caffeination limitations.

Their host plays guide and shows them the source of the stream's impurities. Getting close enough to fix it, though, might prove ruff.

The discussion to follow covers everything from the ethics of imaginary bloodshed to 90s professional wrestling slang.

Plus, Deanna reads all the five star reviews we've received so far. If you want yours read on the show, leave one today!

That’s How Time Works (Launch Party) Dec 22, 2022

Show notes

In honor of our launch, we're throwing a little party. It's an opportunity to introduce ourselves, and go on a few fun tangents.

We recorded this just before launching the pod, a solid six months after recording Episode 1, so we've learned a lot about what this podcast truly is, and we want to share it with you as you begin the journey with us! Don't worry, there aren't any spoilers, so feel free to listen before you start Episode 1, or come back to it later.

And there's more over on the Patreon, where we have a whole slew of ice breaker questions for the cast.
