I had the best time talking to my friennnnnn Kendrick @housewivesmarvelpodcast aka Kennessy from the Me, You Housewives and Marvel Too podcast and we have one of the BEST times! We start out talking about the breaking news with Jen Shah (the box braids though) and Stu Chainz (that's allegedly his Porsche) and what all of this really means. Then we get into more illegal territory...them Atlanta Peaches cuz it should be illegal for them to look this good and for some to be so exhausting (Hi Kenya). We talk about their trip to New Orleans, the twerk healing room and what Kandi from Speak On it and had to say about Marlo and her back hurting...take a note. Then we decide to stay in the ATL and hop on over to Married to Medicine...which did NOT disappoint. We talk about Toya and Eugene in the bath tub, the kids vs. the adults basketball game, Contessa vs. Anila vs. Anila's Momma (keep thine hands to thine self) and Heavenly vs. Anila and Black Lives Matter...which leads us into a discussion about selective outrage..
Laughter is good for the soul and my soul is well after this episode!

In this bonus episode, I had the pleasure of talking to Ashley aka @babybencohen and as it turns out, she's not an actual baby running the account, but a real live adult and we had a great time! We talked about her being on the front lines fighting this pandemic, the precautions she has to take to ensure the safety of her household, and the special bonds she has created with her patients (turns out Bravo is a unifier.) We also get into housewives. Ashley shares who she would have in a housewives house, when she passed her nursing test and the housewife greats she joined in the field and we plan our trip to Dallas to see Dr. Tiffany Moon (Ashley will make sure I have full PPE gear for our plane ride.)

In this episode, I got to chat with the one and only Kate Chastain and I got my entire life! We started out playing a couples game (we're a match), then rolled right into great conversation. We talk about the Megan and Harry interview, the media and how they can print what they want and her experience, Below Deck and her one regret and Kate gets a phone call and it ends up being a Watch What Happens Live doorbell-esque ring from a Below Deck great (hint: Hello Lovelies.) Then we move to life after Below Deck and the whirlwind of her moving from Florida to NYC then a pandemic hitting and moving back to Florida, how the Chat Room came to be and her leaving, Candiace and Monique (it's always about Potomac), Porsha and the brilliance of reality tv, Kate's new production company, sailing into new ventures and so much more!
Kate's not only a vibe, she's my kind of vibe...and I can't wait for our next round of the Newlywed game!

We talk about The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and Jen Shah's speech in part 3 of the reunion (what we felt as black woman watching, viewers reaction to it and the messages people sent that were dismissing the voices of black women who felt that she was co-opting our experiences), how being in a relationship with a black person does not make you subject to black experiences by proxy, other races' expectations of how Black people support them, Mary and her seemingly internalized self- hate and understanding where that comes from, colorism, and what it truly feels like to walk through this world as a black person/woman. We talked Wendy Williams and eating food with a lighter, social justice (no ones snatch was mentioned or had...4 real😂), podcast guests and being pitched...to host our own show?!, archways vs. doorways, different food combinations (just hear me out), New Jersey Housewives and Teresa holding the show hostage, Salt Lake City Wives and the reunion, and of course, the juiciest peaches in the orchard...Our Atlanta ladies! And somewhere in there we got serious for a moment and took a quick dive into parenting and lessons.

And we end up touching on dating and how me and producer Cory aka @cbreezzzey met. And who made the first move (it's no surprise...)

I am so happy to have Brooke Ashley aka The Doll aka @the_brooke_ashley back on the mic! This episode was so much fun and such a treat! We talked about Atlanta and Bolo (Chanel anyone) and how we weren't here for Private Eye Kenya (but who was she talking about) and the energy between Porsha and Bolo. Then we went west and talked the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion. We touched on Jen and her housewives starting point to where she is now, her use of hot button issues to deflect from her own behavior, Mary and internalized self hate and the way Heather seemed to do a 180 on a dime. And we had a fun little detour about Valentines day, dating and housewives who reach out to You tubers and social media accounts to gain fan leverage.

In this episode Donny Hadfield-Smith, co-host of Know That podcast and host of Truly Anything podcast and his husband Quinten Lamar (aka Quin) co-host of Know That podcast and host of This Is Gonna Be Good podcast, join me and Producer Cory for a couples conversation. We start out talking to Donny and Quinn about how they met, what led up to their first date and when they knew it was love (or at least when they knew they needed to live together.)
Then we get deep and talk about navigating this world as an interracial couple as Donny is white and Quinn is black. We talk their family and friends reactions, the micro-agressions that Donny grew to recognize and how he learned what being anti-racist truly is. And Quinn shared the realization he came to about his expectations of Donny and his appreciation that Donny truly has his back and is always receptive to his feelings.
And we finish by playing a fun Bravo couples themed game that involved a Summerhouse and a Winterhouse of couples...
This is truly one of me and producer Cory's favorite episodes. And we are TRULY glad to call Donny and Quinn friends...Know That!
