Crypto Q&A: What You Need To Know Dec 28, 2017
Show notes “Who wants to buy something for $12,000 and sell it 6 hours later for $16,000? I’m not promising you can do that in the future, but it’s happening right now.” - Tai Lopez

Trading gets messy when it gets emotional.

After a big Bitcoin win, the surges of adrenaline can can send you into mega-confidence. This is when you are most vulnerable; as a trader riding off emotion instead of fact. It is our job to keep a level head by continuing to do the research and education to stay one step ahead of the markets.

On today’s episode of The Bitcoin Crypto Mentor Mastermind show, we do just this by answering the people’s questions. From discussing the future of cryptocurrency to learning how to read a data chart, the unprecedented knowledge-dropping in today’s episode will help take your trading game to the next level.

“Crypto is not stock. Stock is equity. You actually own a little bit of Apple, a little bit of Snapchat, a little bit of Amazon. Most cryptocurrencies are protocol, utility tokens, or security tokens.” - Tai Lopez

    Points to Keep In Mind
    • Crypto is the new frontier, that means there aren’t experts but there’s opportunity
    • Take note of the sentiment when trading; at which walls are people waiting to buy/sell
    • Keep track of your tax-basis, the price you buy before it goes up (you pay taxes on the differential)
    • Most people can’t become day-traders or don’t want that lifestyle
      • Instead, seek out a buy-and-hold strategy where you understand the technology, the tokenomics, and a bigger-picture/more long-term view
    • If Bitcoin drops to $4,000, there’s $123 million in orders put in
    • Volatility and risk-reward ratio: if you take more risk, you have potential for more reward and greater loss
    • Human psychology is fear-based: this is the driver of market sentiment, so track the fear/emotion

Is Bitcoin Crashing? Dec 27, 2017
Show notes “This is a fundamental shift. It’s a hedge against the system. The people who are buying Bitcoin are doing it because the system isn’t working for them.” - Dan Fleyshman

    Is Bitcoin crashing right now?

For those of us watching the charts this holiday season, we noticed Bitcoin take a dip this past weekend. The crypto skeptics were smiling and saying I told you so. But quickly Bitcoin rebounded and now stands back near the $16,000 mark. And the critics are back to silence.

On today’s episode of The Bitcoin Crytpo Mentor Mastermind show, we are joined by Dan Fleyshman, William Duplessie, and Ben Greenburg to discuss the future of cryptocurrency. Their range of expertise in the crypto world spreads from business to technology, and on today’s episode they review what coins to look out for as we approach the new year.

Don’t forget! You can also listen to The Tai Lopez Show on Spotify! Click “Follow” and let me know what you think!

“The crypto markets provide an unparalleled level of volatility and excitement that can not be met by the stock market.” - William Duplessie

    (click to tweet)

    Points to Keep In Mind
    • Not all cryptocurrencies need to be mined but there is a shortage of machinery required to do the mining
    • 13 million new Coinbase accounts in the past year, and 1.3 million customer support complaints on backorder
    • Technical analysis applies to crypto markets because they aren’t mature
    • Increased volatility - the books are small because the blockchain can only support a certain amount of traffic
    • Ripple's execution is spot-on, being used in the international banking system
    • MIT is skeptical of the security of Iota's cryptography
    • Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash trade inversely; when one goes up, the other goes down
    • People say that Eos is Ethereum on steroids
    • Blockchain technology will uncover the mysteries behind our traditional closed-door supply chain (ex: are these coffee beans actually fair-trade?)
    • A coin like Siacoin would make a Dropbox unhackable and work perfectly
    • Decentralize your thinking by not getting your information from mainstream media
      • If journalists knew what they were saying, they would be trading not writing articles
    • Crypto trading fundamentals are not established yet; this is what makes it exciting
    • ICOs have redefined the Silicon Valley venture-capital model
      • You will be able to raise money for your business, barrier-free
    • The average person should buy and hold, not trade
    • Best place to check prices: coinmarketcap.com and Coinigy
    • Blockchain will make many jobs and technologies obsolete by improved transparency

The Right Crypto Trading Mindset Dec 26, 2017
Show notes “I would put my Bitcoin on someone building something bigger than Bitcoin someday.” - Franky Bernstein

    (click to tweet)

The crypto trader is unlike any other type of trader.

That’s because the markets never close. There are no off-hours with cryptocurrency. A trader on the stock market gets time off the clock. But a crypto trader has the chance at every hour of the day to be making money.

What this means is that the opportunity for success is far greater. But without the right mindset, you will quickly be in over your head. Crypto trading requires your values and beliefs to be locked in place, so that the inevitable day-to-day anxieties and frustrations do not jostle you into poor decision-making.

On today’s episode of The Bitcoin Crypto Mastermind show, we are joined by Franky Bernstein of Markett. Franky’s expertise spans across many digital technology domains, and his knowledge on cryptocurrency is profoundly insightful. He specializes in understanding how to look at a burgeoning technology from all angles, so you know how to make the most informed investment decision.

Don’t forget! You can also listen to The Tai Lopez Show on Spotify! Click “Follow” and let me know what you think!

“Do your research and then find something you really believe in and hold it. There’s a chance the price drops, but hold it and stick with it.” - Franky Bernstein

    (click to tweet)

    Points to Keep In Mind
    • Ethereum was created because it was very complicated to build decentralized applications on top of Bitcoin
    • The majority of ICOs (initial coin offerings) are being built on top of Ethereum
    • The fundamental problem of Bitcoin is you can only make 7 transactions per second
    • When evaluating cryptos, research the founding team and read the whitepaper
      • The whitepaper is the business plan mapping how the technology is going to change the world
    • Don’t spend your days watching the data charts
    • Real estate blockchain technology will make houses mini-stocks
    • Only invest how much you can afford to lose
    • In the near future, consumer applications will be hosted on blockchain technology

Why Cryptocurrency Is Here To Stay Dec 25, 2017
Show notes “You cannot stop cryptocurrency. It’s already changing the world. The masses have caught on.” - Franky Bernstein

The market is currently validating cryptocurrency.

Over the past few days, the fluctuations in Bitcoin’s price reflect the skeptical sentiment of its naysayers. But Bitcoin’s ability to absorb this dent and rebound means that the market is validating the technology.

On today’s episode of The Bitcoin Crypto Mentor Mastermind show, we are joined by Franky Bernstein of Markett. Franky’s expertise spans across many digital technology domains, and his knowledge on cryptocurrency is profoundly insightful. He specializes in understanding how harnessing the power of digital technology like cryptocurrency can lead to better business and more wealth.

“If you’re listening, then you’re interested. The best way to start is just invest $100 in Bitcoin, and that will get you to learn more about it.” - Franky Bernstein

    (click to tweet)

    Points to Keep In Mind
    • Blockchain is the next technology wave, can be applied to every technology
    • The utility value of Bitcoin is much higher than gold
      • If it’s roughly twice the utility value of gold, then the market cap of crypto is $14 trillion
    • Don’t spend your days watching the data charts

Best of the Week: Investing In Bitcoin, How To Think About Money, and Why Crypto Could Save Our World Dec 24, 2017
Show notes “I see similarities between cryptocurrency and the Web, but this is bigger. This is money.” - Dave Levine

Many times, we leave conversations about cryptocurrency more confused than enlightened.

If it’s all based off speculative value, then why does the price keep rising? If it’s a bubble, so is everything else, so why does that matter? If blockchain technology removes corruption via transparency, then why wouldn’t it replace every technology in the world?

On today’s episode of the Bitcoin Crypto Mastermind show, we answer these questions by reviewing some of the best moments from this past week’s interviews. From Dave Levine to Jeremy Gardner to Amith Nirgurnathy, the range of the crypto conversation has us becoming the new crypto-expert in our daily circles of conversation.

“The inefficiencies create the profit. As soon as it becomes efficient, the huge companies will come in and it will be like the stock market, where the only people profiting are the hedge funds with massive algorithm-trading technology.” - Tai Lopez

    (click to tweet)

    Points to Keep In Mind
    • Don’t invest an amount you cannot afford to lose
    • Blockchain will revolutionize everything: politics, shipment tracking, etc.
    • Biggest-name, most-insured exchange is Coinbase
      • Other exchanges: Poloniex, and Bittrex
    • Constantly rebalance your daily routine with your life goals and formula for happiness
    • Bitcoin is digital gold, but it’s transparency differentiates it from other currency
    • If cryptocurrency is a bubble, the stock market is an exponentially bigger bubble
    • For security Use Google Authenticator and attach non-public phone number as recovery phone number (a Google Voice number)
    • Litecoin is the vitamin, Bitcoin is the painkiller; which has a stronger technology
    • A blockchain technology would eliminate real estate corruption in a place like India by exposing latitude/longitude dispute
    • We pay for service because we trust that person to do that job right, but with blockchain, if we can verify that the job was done right, then we don’t need that trust part, and the price comes down

How Cryptocurrency Can Save Our World Dec 23, 2017
Show notes “Bitcoin is a better store of value than gold. Any time, any day, any place.” - Amith Nirgunarthy

    (click to tweet)

Most of our world’s problems are rooted in financial corruption.

So what happens when financial corruption is no longer possible because cryptocurrency is the universal method of payment? Do the problems disappear? If so, what does that new world look like?

The naysayers will tell you that corruption is still possible, even with crypto’s open-source, peer-to-peer review system. But it’s hard to imagine that the same developers creating this software to rebel against today’s very corrupt system are going to be the ones ten years from now, learning the quantum computing required to corrupt their own solution.

However you choose to forecast the future, the reality of Bitcoin is that you cannot print endless dollars; the supply is finite. This is a stark difference to today’s reality in which national governments print endless dollars of money to fund the weapons required to go to war.

On today’s episode of The Bitcoin Crypto Mentor Mastermind show, we are joined by Amith Nirgunarthy, the Founder and CEO of the cryptocurrency research institution Blockstreet. He is also the former Director of Marketing of Bitcoin IRA. Amith specializes in understanding how cryptocurrency fits into our global economy, and how it will inevitably replace the current model of each nation printing its own currency, and ultimately lead to a better world.

Don’t forget! You can also listen to The Tai Lopez Show on Spotify! Click “Follow” and let me know what you think!

“We pay for service because we trust that person to do that job right. But with blockchain, if we can verify that the job was done right, then we don’t need that trust part, and the price comes down.” - Amith Nirgunarthy

    (click to tweet)

    Points to Keep In Mind
    • In Mexico, you can send Bitcoin to a location where someone goes to pick up cash
    • There are no longer boundaries between countries, so no use for national currencies
    • A blockchain technology would eliminate real estate corruption in a place like India by exposing latitude/longitude disputes
    • Litecoin is the vitamin, Bitcoin is the painkiller; which has a stronger technology
    • In India, developers are flocking to Eos for the code efficiency
    • Any coin you invest in, join the Telegram group
    • A blockchain technology (like Steem) would eliminate Facebook’s ability to profit off the people’s information; instead the people would be paid for their info
    • Skeptics of the forking are worried about the dilution of the Bitcoin brand and don’t understand that there’s enough to go around
    • The Silicon Valley venture capital world will become tokenized with ICOs
    • Wars exist because governments can print endless dollars to make weapons; with Bitcoin, you can’t print endless dollars
    • Trezor is easier to set up than Nano
    • The biggest threat to cryptocurrency is quantum computing, the ability to break code

Why Bitcoin Could Hit $1 Million in 2024 Dec 22, 2017
Show notes “The whole system we live in today is not meant for the way we live today. There are basically no boundaries between countries so why are we using different currencies?” - Amith Nirgunarthy

    (click to tweet)

We live in a decentralized world.

No longer do the people you hire or products you sell need to physically be in the building you work at. Websites like Upwork and Alibaba make getting a developer in India or a product sourced from China easier than trying to do the same in-person. Geographical barriers no longer exist.

This is why cryptocurrency will ultimately take over. Right now, in our decentralized world, payment between countries is complicated. Yes, PayPal makes sending and receiving money ‘easy,’ but ask anyone who has had to account for the taxes accompanied with international payment transfer and they will quickly fantasize about a world in which Bitcoin was the accepted method of payment.

On today’s episode of The Bitcoin Crypto Mentor Mastermind show, we are joined by Amith Nirgunarthy, the Founder and CEO of the cryptocurrency research institution Blockstreet. He is also the former Director of Marketing of Bitcoin IRA. Amith specializes in understanding how cryptocurrency fits into our global economy, and how it will inevitably replace the current model of each nation printing its own currency.

“Bitcoin’s network and technology will grow stronger and the price will eventually hit $1 million dollars. By 2024. At the latest.” - Amith Nirgunarthy

    (click to tweet)

    Points to Keep In Mind
    • There are no longer boundaries between countries, so why do we have national currencies
    • Don’t listen to what bankers say about cryptocurrencies; they have their own personal interest
    • Ripple is essentially the U.S. dollar with a centralized team managing it
    • Beware of crypto-ponzi schemes (Bitconnect is the largest right now)
    • Litecoin is the vitamin, Bitcoin is the painkiller; which has a stronger technology
    • Always be looking to rebalance your portfolio
    Resources
    • Best crypto thought-leaders: Fred Wilson, Erik Voorhees, Andreas Antonopoulos, Roger Ver
    • Blockchain.info is a great new source
    • Best discussion forums are Reddit and Steemit
    • Best exchange in America is GDAX (which is Coinbase)
      • Binance is the up-and-comer exchange, great UX/UI
    • Dash and Eos have great technology and business teams
    • Trezor is easier to set up than Nano

Ethereum vs. Bitcoin Dec 21, 2017
Show notes “It’s a horse race. If someone else is catching up, we can see that and transition.” - Dave Levine

    (click to tweet)

We’ve all heard about Bitcoin, but what about Ethereum?

Ethereum is the boring infrastructure, the blockchain that every new crypto technology seems to be building on top of. It’s the thing behind-the-scenes that is getting everyone rich. Yet Bitcoin gets all the headlines.

So the question becomes: which do you put your money into? The coin with all the hype or the technology that’s underneath it all?

On today’s episode of The Tai Lopez BitcoinCrypto Mentor Mastermind show we are joined by Dave Levine. Dave is the world’s certified expert at detecting which crypto technologies deserve our attention. With his personal business on autopilot making $14 million/year, Dave has committed his entire life to researching and understanding cryptocurrency. His insights are rooted in fact and will undoubtedly help propel us to make the $700,000 he’s made in the past year investing in cryptocurrency.

    • Ethereum is the founder of the consensus algorithm
      • Even if companies catch up, they are the technological innovator
    • Bitcoin is slower and not innovating
    • The internet will be replaced by blockchain by making it more secure
    • Take your time; many innovations will come from this
      • We didn’t know social media when the Internet was invented
    • Once it becomes efficient, the opportunity to make money will go down
      • The people making money in the stock market are the hedge fund algorithmic mass-traders
    • Important that Wall Street isn’t here yet; cryptocurrency threatens people’s perception of money

How To Make $700,000 with Penny Cryptocoins Dave Levine Dec 20, 2017

    There’s much more than Bitcoin.

Every day a new token, coin, technology, or platform is released to the market. Each has its own angle or code that has investors and crypto-experts talking. While many are worth noticing, the reality is that most aren’t what they’re hyped up to be. And it’s up to us to separate the real up-and-comers from the ones that will inevitably fizzle out.

On today’s episode of The Tai Lopez BitcoinCrypto Mentor Mastermind show we are joined by Dave Levine. Dave is the world’s certified expert at detecting which coins deserve our attention.
