The IOC have just announced that Sport Shooting has joined the Olympic Esports Series, with the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF)’s challenge featuring Fortnite. The Olympic Esports series is taking place from the 22nd to the 25th June 2023 and sport shooting has now joined the ranks! The metaverse encompasses a whole host of technologies, virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality and open world social games, all of which will likely increasingly be powered by AI in some form.
But what are the major use cases for the average person and how will they be onboarded into this new future?
Our guest to help answer this question is the ace Charles Stanton, Chief Marketing Officer at FORJ, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, who sit between creators and brands and metaverse platforms, helping bring them into this new world.
Part of that is their Metaprints ecosystem, helping brands establish their presence in this space, which we reference on the show. There’s some more details in the show notes about this too.
