Recently lots of mainstream publications including Rolling Stone ran an article referencing that 95% of NFTs are now worthless...but who wrote the article? Is it true and is it a clear late bear market signal?
We also dive into the release of one of the latest, very impressive VR headsets to be released and talk about Yuga Labs' Otherside + why it looks like they've replaced their key builders.

Lots to get stuck into on this week's news roundup. We've been speculating on the return of the Tamagotchi or equivalent virtual pet in the age of AI companionship. TikTok are partnering with exactly that, made by the creators of Pokemon Go.
Plus we saw some drama with the Creator League - a unique idea that featured 8 major gamers/streamers and a brand deal from Mr. Beast, but it all went sour on the mention of blockchain.
Rokoko launch a new motion capture solution and are Nintendo dropping a VR headset?

This is a conversation with the awesome Hasraf ‘HaZ' Dulull who is a filmmaker, vfx and virtual production wizard. He now leads the team at his own studio - HaZimation where they develop and produce feature films, tv and video games using primarily Unreal Engine as the key tool in their pipeline. Along with the metaverse as a whole, there is a huge shift in how content is being made across all these disciplines and how it’s all colliding, Unreal Engine being a massive part of it. Haz is right at the forefront of it, so is the perfect person to explain the opportunities of the future. We start the conversation mainly with a background in filmmaking and then into how it all relates to video games and the wider metaverse. This was a brilliant chat so thank you very much Haz for coming on. Make sure you give Haz a follow here : https://uk.linkedin.com/in/hazfilm Check out HaZimation here : https://hazimation.com/ And dive into Moontopia on Fortnite, island code : 3538-0241-3570 You can also listen to this episode on all podcast platforms

Neil Sahota is the Lead AI Advisor to the United Nations. Unsurprisingly, this was a fascinating conversation. We talk about the UN’s role in coordinating the international response to AI, some of the biggest opportunities ahead of us as well as the very real global threats to manage. This is starting to affect us all and Neil did a brilliant job of framing how to think about what’s happening, some great advice about how to approach employment in this new era and how we work with AI rather than against it. I think this is one of the most important interviews we’ve done, so it is absolutely worth your time and thank you very much to Neil for coming on.
