Episode 41: DVC Resort Name, Damon's Scary Detour & Spaceship Earth Oct 15, 2018

In episode 41, the guys answer a listener question about staying at the Villas at Grand Californian with DVC points. A recent survey of DVC members leaked a possible name for a new DVC resort and the guys discuss their thoughts on the name. Reunion Station at Copper Creek is lifting restrictions on it's up-charge lounge to attract more customers and one time DVC points increase in price. The guys debate what this means for DVC members. Even more details have come out about the Millennium Falcon ride at Star Wars Land and there is a rumor there will be hard ticket preview event for the land. The guys decide if this makes them any more excited for the ride than they already were and if they'd be interested in a paid preview of Star Wars Land. Damon gives a review of a local haunted farm he attended on his latest detour and has some advice for Disney from his experience. Disneyland is ending their Jedi Training (for now) and has cancelled their luxury hotel project. There is a big rumor out that Spaceship Earth will close for a lengthy 2.5 year refurbishment and the guys discuss their thoughts on what the new ride could look like.

In episode 40, the guys talk about a new DVC VIP Experience for the upcoming Nightmare Before Christmas concert in October and whether it's worth the hefty price tag. Disney announced 19 new and limited time experiences for 2019 and the guys discuss which ones they are most excited about. Date based ticket pricing will take effect in October bringing change to the way guests buy tickets. The guys debate what this means for the resort and why they think Disney is making this change. There is a rumor that Disney is planning to build an India pavilion at the World Showcase and the guys talk about what they'd like to see at this pavilion. New details about the Millennium Falcon ride at Star Wars Land have been released and the guys give their thoughts on this upcoming experience. Rafiki's Planet Watch, once thought to be closing forever, will now be closed until Spring of 2019 to accommodate a lengthy refurbishment. IllumiNations is ending in 2019 and the guys discuss what they would like to see in it's place.

DVC Resale Market put out a list of the most economical DVC Resale contracts to buy and the guys discuss how that would effect their buying decisions. Minnie Van prices are changing to a flat fee plus a per mile charge and the guys consider whether it's worth it to use the service anymore. The Wreck It Ralph VR experience is confirmed to be coming to the Void later this year. The guys explore other popular franchises that could have their own experience at the Void in the future. There are rumors that a popular parade will be ending this year, that a new Mary Poppins ride is coming to Epcot, and that an opening date is set for the Ratatouille ride. The guys debate whether these rumors will come true.

In episode 38, the guys have Marissa and Derek from DVC Resale Market on the show to answer listener questions about DVC Resale. Artist Point is changing from a quiet signature dining experience to character dining this winter, featuring Snow White, Grumpy and Dopey. The guys discuss their thoughts on this change. More details have been announced for one of the restaurants at Star Wars Land. It's called Oga's Cantina and the guys give their opinions on what this restaurant should be. Spaceship Earth is rumored to have an upcoming refurbishment to it's show scenes. The guys discuss what they'd like to see in this update.

In Episode 37, the guys read a listener submitted review of this year's DVC Member Cruise and discuss their thoughts on this special event. The guys answer a listener question about taking a senior guest to WDW. DVC is selling new merchandise in pop up stores around WDW and the guys talk about their favorites. Disney will be closing the Tomorrowland Speedway and the WDW Railroad in preparation for Tron coaster construction and the guys discuss their thoughts on these closures. The guys talk about construction being halted on Disneyland's new hotel project due to a dispute with the Anaheim city council. Damon talks about his recent trips to Busch Gardens, Aquatica, and Seaworld.

Episode 36: Listener Email Follow Up, DVC Perks & Damon's Trips Aug 06, 2018

In episode 36, Damon and Trevor read listener responses to last episode's Owner's Locker question. The guys also read some suggestions from a listener about traveling with a baby at WDW. A timeshare license has been granted for the newest DVC resort, the Riviera, which is currently under construction. The guys discuss their thoughts on the next steps for this resort. DVC recently announced that the Epcot Member Lounge would be returning for 2019 and that members can get early access to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and the guys give their opinions on these perks. Damon has several non-Disney trips planned for the near future and discusses these plans with Trevor. There are rumors (and permits) that construction has begun on a replacement for IllumiNations. The guys talk about what they think of this rumor.

In episode 35, the guys are joined by Damon's wife and answer listener questions about Owner's Locker and Extra Fastpasses for DVC tours. Toy Story Land will be getting a holiday overlay this year and the group discusses their thoughts on what could be included. Bug's Land in Disney's California Adventure gets a closing date to make way for a Marvel land. The group discusses what could be in store for this area of the park. An old Disneyland and Epcot bus at a museum was accidentally crashed into a tree by some kids and the group discusses their presence in the parks. Rumor has it that Disney will not theme the massive Guardians of the Galaxy ride show building at Epcot and that the Yeti in Expedition Everest will finally get fixed. There's also a rumor that the Void at Disney Springs and Downtown Disney will get a Wreck-It Ralph VR experience. The group discusses their thoughts on these rumors and their hopes for the future of the Void.

Episode 34: Babies at WDW, Damon's Trip Report & Force Ghosts Jul 09, 2018

In episode 34, Damon returns to the show and gives the guys a report on his latest WDW trip. The guys answer another listener question, this time about taking a baby to WDW and rider switch. DVC Members lose the recently gained ability to modify existing reservations shortly after it rolled out. The guys discuss the news that the controversial pet policy at WDW may be ending in October. The guys have a WDW Speed Round and discuss Toy Story Land opening, Magical Express, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, New Cars Stage Show, more Star Wars Hotel news, and the Play Disney Parks app. Disney recently filed a patent that will allow them to create interactive "Force Ghosts" and the guys discuss possible uses for this technology.
