The guys discuss the recently released lineup for the Eat to the Beat concert series at the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Disney announced several enhancements to the guest experience coming in 2024 including removing theme park reservations for date based tickets, introducing “good-to-go days” for Annual Passholders, the return of dining plans, continuing extended park time to Disney Resort hotel guests, and allowing Genie+ reservations in advance. A new restaurant called Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya is coming to the Japan pavilion this summer. Disney is celebrating 40 years of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi with new merch and collectibles.

The guys are joined by Jodi from DVC Resale Market to answer questions on topics including the Disneyland Tower, DVC Resale trends, right of first refusal, Polynesian Tower association, Grand Californian contracts, free parking, the transient tax, and moderate DVC resorts. A recent change to DVC’s Public Offering Statement suggests that the new Polynesian Tower may be in a separate association. DVC has revealed add-on pricing incentives for the Disneyland Tower. The guys discuss their random ride of the week. Disney announced new Star Wars themed photo ops at Galaxy’s Edge. With Mother’s Day coming up, Disney announced special treats and merchandise to help celebrate the holiday. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is now in theaters and the parks are celebrating with some special food.

The guys discuss the upcoming Disney trading card game, Lorcana. The guys answer listener questions on topics including going to Disneyland, specific places in the parks, and how to spend a single park day. DVC announced a new timeshare property coming in the future, The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. The Villas at Disneyland Hotel will open for sales in May. Along with the sales date, DVC revealed point charts, resale restrictions and a new transient tax for The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. Pickleball courts are being added to some WDW resorts. Disney provided a preview of the Hatbox Ghost, which will materialize at the Haunted Mansion at WDW this year. Disney announced that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will return to WDW starting in August this year. With May the 4th around the corner, Disney released a preview of special food items celebrating Star Wars. The guys discuss the recent fire which occurred during a performance of “Fantasmic!” at Disneyland.

Walt Disney Imagineering has re-hired former Chief Creative Officer Bruce Vaughn to co-lead WDI and take back his former role.
