Unknown Broadcast | Dear Ghost: A 1921 English House, a War Widow and an Unfinished Message Feb 18, 2024
    Show notes

A young writer rents an ordinary English room in 1921 and begins to dread being left alone. Something seems to follow him down the stairs, while a dead soldier’s photograph holds an unsettling place in the household. Unknown Broadcast presents “Dear Ghost,” a Beyond Midnight drama about a lodger drawn into his landlady’s unresolved grief. The summer heat and quiet rooms offer no obvious reason for his fear. This intimate postwar ghost story asks whether a presence can be threatening without meaning harm—and whether someone living can carry the message it cannot deliver.

    Slasher: Valentine Screams – A Deadly Horror-Movie Romance Feb 14, 2024

A Valentine’s broadcast and a movie premiere frame a production where the creature wants more than a role. This third Slasher installment follows performers who know how to fake terror—until the threat refuses to follow the script. Hear the first two stories in “Slashback” for the characters’ earlier adventures.

3 Bloody Valentine’s Horror Stories — Love, Obsession and Death Feb 09, 2024
    Show notes

Three Valentine’s horror stories make affection feel dangerously unpredictable. Jeff Carpenter’s “A Sunken Heart in Hino Bay” carries forbidden longing toward the sea; Shane Migliavacca’s “Deb Debbie Deborah” entwines bereavement with a disturbing reunion; and his “Be Mine” introduces a secret admirer who wants more than a reply. Narrated by Henrique Couto, this collection moves through dark romance, body horror and obsession. The settings change, but every story asks what love can become when someone refuses to accept its limits. A bloody alternative to a comfortable Valentine’s night.

Gamble with the Devil: A Fake Mercenary, a Cult Massacre & an Asylum Demon Feb 07, 2024
    Show notes

A would-be mercenary hires a cameraman to film his assault on a cult—and discovers the asylum contains more than human targets. David O’Hanlon’s “Gamble with the Devil” follows videographer Ernie behind Travis Gamble, a heavily armed amateur hoping a violent highlight reel will launch his career. Animal masks, ritual fires and bodies turn the abandoned institution into a nightmare neither man is prepared to document. This found-footage-style horror story mixes paramilitary satire, occult danger and extreme dark comedy. Keeping the camera rolling may be the worst part of the job.
