Show notes

Brandon and Chanel are back with our typical weekly recap of Righteous Gemstones Episode 4. This show is the best comedy in the last decade. Succession Series Finale - Creamy Margins May 30, 2023

Show notes

Brandon and Chanel are joined by our friend from the PW Torch Rich Fann to discuss the season and series finale of Succession With Open Eyes. Its an end of an error and the end of one of the greatest TV series in history. The Roy family as horrible as they are have brought so much joy, and entertainment in a dark and disturbing way, and the finale ending is fitting for this show.

Succession Season 4 Episode 9 - Privacy, P*ssy, Pasta May 24, 2023

Show notes

Brandon and Chanel are back to talk about the penultimate episode of Succession Church and State. This is such a bitte sweet moment because we know this ending is going to be fire but we are so sad this incredible all time great show is ending. But it is ending with a bang as we get Logan Roy funeral and Kendall Roy's rebirth.

Succession Season 4 Episode 8 - It's Hotter Than Wasabi May 16, 2023

Show notes

Brandon and Chanel are back to talk about a triggering episode of Succession America Decides. This episode brought back the feelings of Nov 8 2016 and they did it in the way only Succession and Jessie can do. This episode cements Roman as a full on Nazi and Kieran Culkin put on a performance for a lifetime. We saw honesty we rarely see from the sibs in this episode and watch how the Succession world drifts into fascism.

Succession Season 4 Episode 7 - Full Reverse Viking May 12, 2023

Show notes

Sorry for the late release it was Chanel's Birthday!!! Everyone show her some love, but we are back to talk about a fantastic bottle episode of Succession episode 7 Tailgate. This episode mostly takes place at Shiv and Tom's tailgate election party and we fully move these characters forward including a scene with Tom and Shiv that should be bottled up shipped to the Emmy's and have their trophy engraved today.

Succession Season 4 Episode 4 - What Would Logan Roy Do Apr 17, 2023

Show notes

Brandon and Chanel talk about the fall out from Logan Roy's death on Episode 4 of Season 4 of Succession "Honeymoon States". They had a big task in following up one of the greatest hours of television in history and at the same time setup the final stretch of the series and they did it masterfully. Shiv, Roman, Kendall, the corporate suits, Tom, Marcia, Connor and Willa all see their characters pushed forward and defined.

Succession Season 4 Episode 6 - Live More Forever Apr 10, 2023

Show notes

Brandon and Chanel are back for another awesome episode of Succession. The chips are starting to fall and this episode shows a remarkable level of incompetence for the Roy boys and a possible reunion between Shiv and Tom? Lukas making his first big mistake and the Kendall coming through when nobody thought he would.

Succession Season 4 Episode 2 - Nice Tom Ford's Buddha Apr 05, 2023

Show notes

Brandon and Chanel are back a little late because of illness but better than ever with new audio to review Season 4 Episode 2 of Successions - Rehearsal. This episode was equal parts dark and funny. We see Shiv spiraling out of control, Kendall going full self destruct and Roman falling back into old habits all while Brian Cox gives an incredible performance and a range we have not seen in Logan Roy.

Succession Season 4 Episode 1 Recap - Who Wants to Smell Greg's Finger Mar 28, 2023

Show notes

Brandon and Chanel are fired up that Succession is back. We are both excited and sad that this is Succession's last season and the last time we get to spend with the Roy's but Episode 1 got us right back into the world of Privilege. This episode had all the hits, Logan being miserable, the Roy Kids being idiots, corporate intrigue, frivolous spending and a great start what looks to be a wild ride to the end. We had a couple audio issues this episode so stick with us and go on this final journey with us.
