    Amanda Batty is an ex-professional downhill mountain biker who has spent a majority of her life carving down the side of mountains whether it be on two wheels or a pair of skis. During her career Amanda has suffered numerous head and bodily injuries that have led her to being a voice of awareness surrounding concussions and head trauma.     Bill Strickland is a fixture in the cycling industry. Over the decades he and his team have contributed to how we look at cycling at large including setting an example for promoting diversity within work and also amplifying the voices of people from all different backgrounds in his publications.

    This conversation gets pretty heavy when we spoke about his childhood and his relationship with his abusive father. But we also spoke about his relationship with Lance from the 90s all the way up to his confession of doing in 2013. This episode is incredible. You’re really going to enjoy this!

In the recent season Imogen was called up to race in Ronde van Vlaanderen which was a very monumental moment in her journey.     For this episode, I got to hang out with Freya Rawlins aka @Rockerawrrs. Freya is a UK cyclist that just recently relocated to Girona. At the time that Freya and I spoke she was only days away from relocating. We touched on so many different topics including what is taking her over to Spain and cycling at large.

    One of the topics that Freya and I spoke about was intersectional environmentalism which she has poured so much of her passion. Shayna and I spoke about Zwift-life, her experience as a professional mountain biker, transitioning to becoming a pro road cyclist and watching her brother Neilson’s rise to becoming a World Tour cyclist and his debut at this year’s Tour de France. We also discussed the Murdered and Missing Indigenous Pandemic - an issue that goes widely unmentioned in America. This was another wonderful conversation with a wonderful human being. Enjoy.
