This episode delivers a blunt reality check for anyone chasing “get rich quick” schemes online. If investment advice is coming from influencers, crypto hype accounts, or self-proclaimed gurus on social media, the odds are already stacked against you.
From wildly bad crypto calls to contradictions posted just days apart, the pattern is always the same: bold promises, zero accountability, and real people left holding the bag. Borrowing money to speculate, following celebrity endorsements, and believing overnight-wealth fantasies all end the same way.
There’s no shortcut here. Building wealth takes time, discipline, and patience—not tweets, memes, or internet bravado.

The Super Bowl halftime show has sparked weeks of overblown outrage, selective memory, and bad takes. This episode cuts through the noise—reminding everyone that halftime shows have always changed, most are quickly forgotten, and none are worth this level of hysteria.
The real problem isn’t the music. It’s the ignorance. From ridiculous deportation jokes to basic facts about Puerto Rico being ignored, the reaction says more about the outrage machine than the performance itself.
Turn down the volume, learn the facts, and move on.

The U.S. managed to seriously anger Poland—one of its strongest European allies—after the American ambassador publicly cut ties with Poland’s parliament speaker for refusing to support a Nobel Peace Prize for Donald Trump.
Poland’s leadership pushed back, reminding Washington that alliances are built on respect, not lectures. The situation escalated further with late-night social media posts and reckless talk of pulling U.S. troops, sparking backlash from Polish citizens and officials alike.
A needless diplomatic mess, damaged trust, and a masterclass in how not to treat allies.

This episode examines the psychological toll of waking up each day bracing for what the news will bring—and how that anxiety collided with something unmistakable: the President of the United States sharing imagery rooted in one of the oldest and most vile racist tropes.
This wasn’t harmless satire or just an “internet meme.” It was deliberate, public, and revealing. Even more disturbing was the silence, hesitation, and spin that followed.
At its core, this is about character and accountability. Not left or right—but right and wrong. Some lines should never be crossed, and pretending otherwise tells us everything we need to know.

This isn’t compassion—it’s exploitation. Nearly 40% of Stanford undergrads now claim a disability, unlocking perks like prime housing, note-takers, private testing rooms, excused absences, and even exemptions from class participation. At elite schools, gaming the system has become the norm—and students admit you’d be “stupid” not to do it.
Meanwhile, community colleges report just 3%. Same country. Very different incentives.
When accommodations turn into advantages, life skills disappear and accountability erodes. This may work on campus—but it doesn’t translate to the real world or the workplace.

This was always going to be bad—just not this bad. Forced EV mandates turned into one of the most expensive industrial blunders in modern auto history. Since 2022, major U.S. and European automakers have burned through an estimated $114 billion on EV programs, with legacy brands alone losing over $83 billion.
When subsidies vanished, demand collapsed. Inventory piled up. Losses exploded. EVs didn’t fail because of innovation—they failed because consumers were pushed, not persuaded.
EVs have a place, but it’s a niche—not a mandate. The lesson is simple: don’t force people to buy what they don’t want.

Private equity’s easy-money era is ending. Bloated fees, fake valuations, and years of underperformance are catching up as firms struggle to sell assets and raise new capital—while still collecting their 2%.
Now they want liquidity, even pushing private equity into 401(k)s as an exit. Don’t fall for it.
As this model breaks down, real opportunity emerges: mismanaged businesses, distressed assets, and the chance for competent operators to step in and rebuild. The private equity bubble is deflating—and the fallout is just beginning.

Amazon didn’t fund the Melania movie to make money—it was a cost of doing business. Nearly $30 million to license her participation, layoffs elsewhere, and we’re supposed to believe this was about profits?
From suitcases of cash in ABSCAM to today’s speeches, no-show jobs, board seats, crypto deals, and foreign money, the hustle has just gone upscale. Both parties, Wall Street, Big Tech—it’s all the same game.
Call it what it is: modern American Hustle. Transparent or not, it’s still wrong.

Despite talk of a manufacturing “golden age,” the numbers tell a different story. Factory employment is down more than 200,000 jobs, and activity has been shrinking for over two years. Tariffs haven’t reversed the trend—they’ve raised input costs, distorted markets, and forced bailouts dressed up as “bridge loans.”
This episode breaks down why government-engineered manufacturing, subsidies, and trade barriers don’t create real competitiveness—and why lower energy costs, market forces, and clearing the deck beat backroom economic planning every time.

Thomas Massey tried—again—to stop an omnibus spending bill stuffed with waste, foreign giveaways, and borrowed money we don’t have. He offered amendments to rein in spending, give the president flexibility, and block billions flowing overseas. Both parties shut it down.
$3.3 billion to Israel, more to Egypt and Jordan, and hundreds of millions for bureaucratic nonsense—all added to the debt and put on our kids’ credit card. Massey stood up for taxpayers. The establishment made sure he lost.
