    WASH THIS! Ep25 - "Ashanti's Thighs" Sep 06, 2019
    Show notes

WASH THIS! made it to a quarter! In the 25th episode, Scoop, Roddy, and Ovid The Poet talked about Young MA and her upcoming project. They also made predictions for the Cassidy vs Arsenal battle set to go down in Philly. The current state of hip hop, it's journey from the beginning, and where it may be headed was debated. Beyonce's bday was celebrated because the WASHED BOYZ didn't want the beyhive to shut down the pod. The great lyricist, Royce Da 5'9 was honored for his bars. These topics and much more made the 25th episode a classic. Enjoy!

    WASH THIS! Ep24 - "Luxury Shorts" Aug 30, 2019
    Show notes

On this week's episode of WASH THIS!, Scoop, Ovid The Poet and Roddy invited a guest and long time friend of the show to join the panel, Siri, Siri gave a lot of insight and a female perspective to the different topics that were discussed. She also talked about her clothing line, which has been doing amazing numbers on her site. As far as topics, they reviewed new album drops from Rapsody and Jeezy. They also talked about rappers who have left the spotlight and looked into what they are doing today. VMAs and award shows in general were discussed along with the latest performance by Missy Elliot. Lots of laughs made this episode special... or maybe it was the Pure White Henny. Either way, it was a good time. Enjoy!

WASH THIS! Ep23 - "I can sell water to a well... or is it whale?" Aug 23, 2019
    Show notes

In the Jordan (or Lebron?) episode of WASH THIS!, the WASHED BOYZ are back with some more debates about topics that affect hip hop culture. Last week they touched on the topic of Jay-Z's new relationship with the NFL, but this week they talked about it in more detail. Roddy seemed especially energized about his opinion of this partnership. They also talked about "Outdated bars", which was very interesting with each of the fellas choosing punchlines, schemes, and subject matter that have been overused in hip hop and therefore should not be used moving forward. WARNING: A lot of your favorite rappers may have got dissed during this segment. They also spent some time honoring Kool G Rap.

WASH THIS! Ep22 - "When Roddy Met Kanye" Aug 16, 2019
    Show notes

On episode 22 of WASH THIS!, Scoop, Roddy, and Ovid (The Rapper) are back talking their talk. This week saw the WASHED BOYZ tackling some really good hip hop topics including Jay-Z and ROC NATION's partnership with the NFL, Blue Face's lyrics, and an album review of Rick Ross's latest effort "Port of Miami 2". This week's "honoree" was none other than Kanye West who Roddy has apparently met on a couple of occasions. All in all, it was a hilarious episode full of hip hop insight and gems as well as Henny induced jokes. ENJOY!

    WASH THIS! Ep21 - "The List" Aug 09, 2019
    Show notes

In this latest episode, the WASHED BOYZ are back with some interesting anecdotes about this week in hip hop. First off, congratulations were in order as Westside Gunn & Benny The Butcher have inked a management deal with Jay-Z's ROC NATION. Scoop was so excited about this that you would've thought it was him that signed on the dotted line. Roddy then moved the discussion to a topic that has had the internet buzzing for a few days, Ebro's "Top 50 Rapper" list. The fellas spent much time dissecting this list and debating on who belonged and who was missing. The episode wrapped with an honoring of none other than Lil Kim, The Queen B. Enjoy!

    WASH THIS! Ep20 - "No Chat" Aug 02, 2019
    Show notes

WASH THIS! hits the big two-oh! It's been a fun ride and it's only getting better. In this episode, Scoop, Roddy, & Ovid The Poet talk about what it means to have made it through 20 episodes and remaining semi-cool with each other. The topics discussed this week included Tyler, the Creator's interview with Funkmaster Flex and his controversial freestyle. The fellas also talked about Rick Ross's album rollout with his newest single featuring Drake, and what a collaborative album could be like with those two. Food was provided by Bub's Grub, and the lovely ladies of Fox Force 5 were as engaging as ever. Here's to 20 episodes plus 100 more!

WASH THIS! Ep19 - "Hot Boy Summer" Jul 26, 2019
    Show notes

In the latest episode of WASH THIS!, Scoop, Roddy, & Ovid The Poet explore the origins of the popular phrase, "Hot Girl". What they uncover may surprise you. They also talked about the new XXL Freshman lineup and compared it to the lineups of the past. White Rappers and their contribution to hip hop culture got Ovid & Roddy kinda heated as Scoop played mediator for the homies. In the weekly "Honoring" segment, the fellas spoke about the legend, Gucci Mane. Great episode!

WASH THIS! Ep18 - "Strippers Who Rap" Jul 19, 2019
    Show notes

In episode 18, the WASHED BOYZ were joined by the lovely ladies of Fox Force 5 as they surprised Scoop with a cake and bottles of Henny for his bday. Along with the celebration, they discussed Jermaine Dupri recent comments regarding female rappers. That topic got Fox Force 5 kinda riled up. Other topics included: What does it mean to "run" the game?, Who are some of the best storytellers in hip hop history?, What happened to the original members of Diddy's "Da Band"?, and MORE!

WASH THIS! Ep17 - "Agree to Disagree" Jul 12, 2019
    Show notes

Episode 17 of WASH THIS! leads listeners to wonder if the WASHED BOYZ even really like each other. As friendly and agreeable as they usually are, on July 10, 2019 it seemed like Scoop, Ovid The Poet, & Roddy couldn't agree on ANYTHING. They debated about J Cole and Dreamville's "Revenge of the Dreamers 3" album, what it means for A$AP Rocky to be locked up in Sweden, and pretty much everything else. They even found a way to disagree while honoring Noreaga and all of his accomplishments. It seems unlikely that these guys will remain friends after that night, but it sure led to an entertaining episode. ENJOY!

    WASH THIS! Ep16 - “It’s in the Rrrrrules!” Jul 05, 2019
    Show notes

In episode 16, Scoop, Roddy, & Ovid might’ve gotten a little bit drunker than usual before they even started recording. This led to a very interesting episode where the topics took on a life of their own and ranged from the proper way to play Monopoly to the legacy and history of Master P. The studio audience was also very lively and engaged with debates about whether or not ASAP Rocky was justified in his recent scuffle in Sweden. Enjoy!
