Dan Jacobs of Atreyu & I have a conversation about how he coped with 2020, his 1st brew, the soundtrack of his youth, his 1st show, how he has been filling the void, writing for other musicians, Baptize, an Atreyu brew & his hangover cure.

Throughout this interview, Dan was drinking a Brown Sugar Oatmilk Coffee while I enjoyed Lagabière 's "Saison Dvala" from their Série Inspiration. This 5.3% ABV Atypical Saison was brewed with America Hops & fermented with a strain of Scandinavian Yeast. It poured out with a slightly hazy light yellow veil, smashed earthy notes on the nose, slapped a slightly sweet yet dry crushable finish.

Jason Asberry & Jesse Schobel of Stormruler & I have a conversation about how they coped with 2020, their 1st brews, the soundtrack to their youths, their 1st shows, Under the Burning Eclipse, the Book of Bring It, a Stormruler Brew & their hangover cure.

Throughout this conversation, Jason enjoyed Ale Asylum 's "Road Crew" the 5%ABV American Pale Ale & Civil Life Brewing Company "s "Angel & Sword" the 4.6% ABV English Extra Special / Strong Bitter (ESB) while Jesse enjoyed Elysian Brewing 's "Contact Haze" the 6% ABV Hazy IPA & 4 Hands Brewing Company 's "Contact High" the 5% ABV Wheat Beer. I enjoyed Lupulone 's brand new brew called "Cadors". This 6.5% ABV IPA was brewed with Ella, Vic Secret & Galaxy Hops as well as with a special strain of yeast that gives off some wild earthy characteristics yet it is not actually a Brett yeast. It poured out with a gorgeous yellow hazy veil, slapped grapefruit on the nose, smashed a chalky juicy tropical finish.

Throughout this interview, Justin was drinking JuneShine while I enjoyed Beauregard Brasserie Distillerie 's "Old Fashioned". This 11.9% ABV Imperial Stout was brewed with Orange Zests & aged in Bourbon Barrels. It poured out with a jet black veil, smashed sweet bourbon on the nose & slapped a sticky sweet orange finish.

Óskar Logi Ágústsson of The Vintage Caravan & I have a conversation about how he coped with 2020, his 1st brews, the soundtrack of his youth, his 1st shows, the Icelandic Scene, leaving Iceland & coming back, "Monuments", filling the void, The Vintage Caravan Brew & his hangover cure.

Throughout this conversation, Óskar was drinking Gæðingur brugghús 's "Beer with Bubbles" the 4.6% ABV Lager while I enjoyed Lagabière x The Wild Shack's "Collabo Wild Shack". This 6.1% ABV Mixed Fermentation Grisette was aged for a year in Oak Barrels & conditioned for three month on Boysenberries. It poured out with a gorgeous dark purple veil, smashed an earthy oak driven nose & slapped a tart berry filled finish. It was delicious!

This sick Black IPA pours out with a jet black veil with a rich espresso head, slaps sweet pineapple & roasted malts on the nose, kicks bitter roasted coffee & tropical fruit on the finish. Throughout this interview, we were enjoying Bière Boréale x Messorem Bracitorium 's "Tourbillon Polaire" the DDH Double IPA. This gorgeous brew poured out with a milky hazy veil, smashed juicy tropical fruits such as mangoes & pineapple on the nose, ripped a slightly sweet, fruity, dank, delicately boozy & enjoyable hop burn on the finish. It clocked in with a 8.6% ABV.

Chris Kells & Mihaela Petrescu & I have a conversation about how they coped with 2020, their 1st brews, joining the Vox&Hops Crew, working on Brewtal North America & if they could create their own unique collab for themselves.

Throughout tonight's hang I enjoyed 2 very special brews: Ras L'Bock x Microbrasserie À la Fût 's "L'Anse de Mékinac" & Microbrasserie À la Fût x Ras L'Bock 's "Rouge de L'Anse".

This is a unique Collab. Both breweries blended their own version of a Flanders Red with Wild Cherries with the others & then aged the results in Oak Barrels.

"L'Anse de Mékinac" pours out with a deep red orange veil, slaps earthy oak on the nose, rips a tart acidic fruity finish & clocks in with a 6.6% ABV.

"Rouge de L'Anse" pours out with a cloudy orange veil, radiates oak laced cherries on the nose, smashes a tart smooth funky finish & clocks in with a 5.4% ABV.
